Welcome to our charming Lakeview cottage on Fox Point Lake in Hubbards, NS! This rustic log home boasts 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, making it perfect for families or friends seeking a peaceful retreat. Enjoy our private dock on the lake and take advantage of kayaks for fun-filled water adventures (seasonal). Unwind, reconnect with nature, and create cherished memories. The space
This property is on three levels. Two bedrooms are on the second floor and the third bedroom is in the basement. There is a powder room on the second floor and a full bathroom (bath and shower) on the main floor. The bedrooms are small but cozy. You have access to a private dock and to kayaks.

Guest access
We are equipped with smart locks. Before your check-in you will receive a code and instructions to access the property. The code can be used on any of the three doors.

Other things to note
Please note that the private dock is available seasonally, usually from May to October (weather dependent). Kayaks and paddleboards are available year-round, weather permitting. When the dock is not in place, you can still access the lake via a beach area to launch the watercrafts.

From June to September, we provide an inflatable dock on Fox Point Lake, located right in front of our this cottage and is shared between our Fox Creek cottage and your cottage (Lakeview). We kindly ask that you share the dock and be considerate of other guests using it.

At this location, while the cellular reception might not be optimal, we have you covered with our complimentary high-speed Bell Fibe 300 Wi-Fi.

There is no cable, however, you can use the various apps on the smart televisions and login to YOUR various accounts: Apple / Itunes, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Bell/Eastlink or other service provider online access, Youtube, Disney +. These are only available if YOU have an account. Don't forget to bring your usernames and passwords with you.

Important notice for pet owners: Watch for blue-green algae from May to October. Blue-green algae can occur naturally in any surface waters like lakes. If you think you see blue-green algae, avoid the area. For more information, visit the Government of Nova Scotia website.

Fox Point Lake is a 1.4 square kilometers lake located on the Aspotogan Peninsula. Residential properties, both year-round and seasonal, line the lake perimeter. There are many beaches you can also enjoy within a short drive (including Fox Point Beach, Queensland Beach, Cleveland Beach and Bayswater Beach). Enjoy restaurants or the yacht and sailing clubs in Hubbards, about 10 minutes from our property. Only 25 minutes drive to Chester and 45 minutes to Halifax.
