I stayed at Sydney’s place with a couple coworkers for a conference. It was very convenient to the convention center and nice to have a place with a kitchen and a space for us to be together in the evenings. Despite a lot of activity in the surrounding area at night, it was very quiet in the apartment. (I visited another friend in the convention center hotel and could hear a lot of street noise even from the 18th floor.)
