Coral Condos is a newly built unit conveniently located about 10 mins from the airport in a safe, gated community on the western end of New Providence. The unit has a modern design concept and although it's perfect for long term stays, it's also a great short-term option if privacy, quiet, and safety is the top of your priority list. There are air conditioning units throughout the condo for your comfort and your hostess runs a tour company, so we have tons of tips on what to do while here.
“Samantha's place is in the top tier of homes to spend your stay in Nassau. Her home is modern and beautiful and the area is quiet and private. Samantha's was very warm, welcoming and accomodating. Once you're there, you won't want to leave or can't wait to come again. Truly an experience”
My place is close to bird watching and conservation zones. You'll love its ambiance in a quiet neighborhood at an affordable price. It's clean and has basic necessities. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. This whole apartment is close to the airport, which makes it ideal for layovers. You will need a car for longer stays or to easily access touristy areas quickly. Alternatively, you can try public transportation. Very clean and quiet.
“We may not perfectly recollect all the details of our encounters, but we undoubtedly will remember how the people we met made us feel. I felt comfortable, safe and at home at Desiree's place. Furthermore, I felt like I was among friends, a true Bahamian family. She didn't have to, but according to the freedom in her schedule, she allowed me to accompany her around town more than once and consequently I got the chance to know more of Bahamas than I would have known and viewed on my own; and I learned about the place and culture through Desiree and her family. Desiree really went above and beyond and I had a rich experience and made new friends through her. You will have all the necessary amenities at the house; washing machine, WiFi, air conditioning, you name it. Be prepared to do some walking to the bus stop however, if you do not have a rented car. In my four days there, I only walked twice though. Got rides with Desiree mostly... according to her schedule. She would always offer me a drop to the bus stop when leaving in the mornings for work. I must also say I appreciate the pickup and drop off service they offer from and to the airport. I recommend that all her guests sign up for this, because... well, the drivers have perfect knowledge of the direction to Desiree's home. :) It was an unforgettable experience and I know I will be seeing her and her family again once I return to Bahamas.”

“Well, What else can I say that tops everything everyone else has said in the past. From meeting Maria, her lovely husband Cresswell and beautiful daughter Christian to saying goodbye 10 days later. Maria and her husband spoiled us and Maria took us to the grocery store on our first night. Was so thankful as we did not bother renting a car for our vacation this time. Maria showed us the apartment and how everything worked and it was like coming to my new home for a stay that felt like I didn't even leave my home in my country. Well that is not quite true as it was much warmer from where we came from. All was very tastefully decorated, wonderful comfy bed and furniture. She has done a great job with her "West Wing" rental. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. I enjoy doing the cooking so we could eat properly but we did indulge a few times while we were out. It felt great not having to be somewhere at a certain time, dress up a bit then have to come back to sleep. Everything was there. The laundry washer and dryer was very handy for the few times I used it. Air worked great and Maria even leaves new Shampoo's, Soaps, Creams, and lovely towels and bedding was great quality. The bus stop was just up the road from their place across the street. Buses usually came within 10 minutes or so. We had lots of fun on them. $1.25 each to town. They drop you off near the cruise ships at a street where many buses left from. Very easy to get around town to see the sights. We always went back to where the buses started to be sure of a seat on the way back. The buses all stop at 6pm then you must use taxi's which are very expensive. Everyone we met was so friendly. If you come and like to dive or snorkel you must sign up with Stuart Cove's which offer great value for the dollar. Check out their web sites. Unfortunately when we went it was Jan 29 to Feb 8 and the water was very chilly. Not too many in the water since it is the coldest time of year. 75F. If we had come when it was warmer we would have gone so many more places for water trips. Maria and Cresswell offered to take us to the airport on the return trip and we graciously accepted. This was a wonderful trip to a beautiful island meeting fabulous people. Thanks for making our visit unforgettable. Sincerely, Shelagh and Chris P.S. You all MUST try the Ice Cream Daiquiris.”
