This cosy and private chalet is located in the gardens of the main house on the edge of a peaceful and beautiful valley. From your private & secluded patio area you can view the Troodos mountains & Vouni vineyards to the Northeast, across the valley and past the wind turbines near Kouklia and then to the sea to the south. It is a 25 minute drive up into the hills from Paphos International Airport.
“Incredible view, private terrace with a swing (we could even move the sunbeds next to our door), possibly the best Airbnb experience. Nicky and Ian were really kind, woke up early to let us in, bought the breakfast ingredients so we could enjoy the sunrise with a meal without going to the market. 3 days spent at the house were just what we needed to reset. This is a totally secluded area, with one tavern next door but nothing else. When the sun goes down the best idea is to relax inside with a book or Netflix, as it's completely dark in the area (you can rather enjoy stars on the sky instead of walking around). There is one market 5min drive but in November (out of season) was almost empty. But you don't need much at this place when waking up with a breathtaking view as this one - 10000% recommend!”
Fontana Traditional House is located in Anarita village. It's fully renovated in January 2018. The house was built with stone outside and wood around the house. There are 2 bedrooms, kitchen is united with living room and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped.Outside you can find a big umbrella with a table. A barbeque and pots with flowers. Also the parking area is private. The swimming pool is in the middle of the yard.
“We were at Fotini's house from January 11 to January 15, 2020. We were very pleased with the house, and the comfort, and the hospitality of the owners. We arrived an hour earlier. The owner took us to an excellent supermarket, while cleaning work in the house was completed. Fotini is a very pleasant hostess, baked cheese cake for us in the morning, brought home-made chicken eggs and served delicious oranges from her garden. It was always available, answered all questions. Recommended us great places to visit and a tavern where we ate deliciously. The house has everything that you may need for everyday life. Everything and more. Powder, soap, shampoo, shaving foam, kitchen stuff for every taste, even foil and baking paper, muffins and pies and much more, you will not list all. Salt, sugar, coffee, tea. Olive oil, sunflower, grape ... Definitely recommend if you are willing to travel by car, because you need to get to the sea by car. Fotini, thanks again for everything !!!”
Located next to the popular & traditional village of Mandria, the apartment sits in a quiet corner of the complex, ideally located with easy access to a large communal pool (free access) & established green areas. Boasting truly outstanding panoramic views of the coastline, countryside & mountains you are within easy walking distance to both the village centre and local beaches. This is a fantastic base to explore Cyprus and take the time to relax and enjoy your holiday at your own pace!
“I stayed at this nice, hotel style flat for a whole month. So I think my opinions are well founded. :) First, the apartment is exactly as pictured, what you see is what you get. As a winter guest, I specially enjoyed the full-size bath tub. What a joy to plunge in on a cold evening. The well-sized bed gets extra points for the most comfortable mattress. It's hefty and perfect to sleep on. Keith the host is friendly and helpful. He promptly responds to messages, and takes action when needed. On Mandria village: I didn't know much before my stay. Now I can tell Mandria must be the potato capital of Cyprus! If you are into walking, you can find many routes by the fields. You can hike along a water canal to Asprokremmos dam. Of course, the sea and beaches are within a short walk. There's an orthodox chapel by the sea, covered with murals. It's extremely popular. The chapel of Saint Vrioni is open daily.”
