Located inside the historic Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, World Heritage of UNESCO, our guest house is an authentic Berber Kasbah completely renovated in compliance with traditionnals technicals of construction and materials
“The Kasbah is a fairly unique place, where you actually get to stay in a UNESCO location. The lack of electricity and light of the candles takes you back to a different century. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Both the dinner and the breakfast were filling and quite delicious. Mohamed and Hassan's hospitality is outstanding! We would strongly recommend having dinner at the Kasbah, as the surrounding area can get quite dark, and finding your way back to the Kasbah post-dinner could be challenging, especially since you will need to cross a bridge of solid rocks over a shallow river to get here. We would stay here again, if we were to ever go back to Ait Benhaddou.”
“Fantastic place, looks super nice and we could have stayed longer! If you wanted to stay for dinner it was a bit pricey (15 euros per person is quite expensive for Moroccan standards), although it must have been very tasty! We did not stay for dinner because we did not bring any cash on arrival. The disadvantage is that 2 locations are indicated, so we almost arrived in Ben Haddou instead of the apartment. You really have to click on the location in Tisseldeï. Furthermore, the last road to the apartment is not so good, very bumpy.”
“We had an extraordinary stay with my 3 children, this Berber village is a must to visit if you are looking for simplicity and the discovery of another way of life. Each place in this village tells a story ... the traditional oven Where women meet to bake their breads and exchange, the history of the village kasbah, the discovery of ancestral methods for making carpets by women from the village, the almond blossom fields and not to mention the excellent cuisine of Lalla Fatima and Hanène. Abdel Kader was always there to help us and advise us throughout our stay in Ouarzazat. Another big thank you for your welcome and your generosity.”
