“This apartment was in a PERFECT location to everything! We were walking distance from the Potomac, coffee shops, restaurants, thrift stores, designer shops, art gallery’s, and the Metro. We took the Metro into Georgetown for more shopping and to see a concert at the Warner Theater. I would recommend this location to anyone and would absolutely stay here again.”
Beautifully decorated and spacious home in a charming, Alexandria neighborhood near the King Street metro and the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. If you want to have a party, this is not the place for you.
“This was our first AirBnB experience, and it could not have been better. Robert kindly agreed to meet us well after the 4 p.m. check-in time to accommodate our flight schedule, and he gave us a comprehensive walk-through of the property to show us all of the amenities. The home is gorgeous and comfortable, and well-stocked with everything one could need for a visit, including unexpected items like a full-size washer and dryer and iron/ironing board. We loved having coffee and tea provided for us, and Robert went the extra mile and included bagels, peanut butter and preserves, milk, juice, and cereal for breakfast. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one would need to prepare and serve meals, and a large grocery store is located just about a mile away. The neighborhood is upscale, quiet, and safe, and conveniently located very close to Old Town Alexandria, Arlington, and Washington, D.C. Robert's home is the perfect base for exploring the area, and we would be very happy to stay there again.”
Walk where George Washington walked at Christ Church, then create a hearty brunch in the Mediterranean blue-colored kitchen. With its mix of fun bright colors and Colonial style woods, this home is a delightful blend of rich architecture and modern whimsy.
“Such a pleasure to come back to the dog house every night after sightseeing around DC. Liked the easy access via keypad. The location was quiet, peaceful and safe. Metro station about a 20 min walk away or you can connect via bus. Everything we needed was there in the kitchen if we'd wanted to cook, although we ate out or ordered in from great restaurants. Old Town Alexandria is a pure delight to walk around. Would stay again in a heartbeat.”
