Vacation rentals in Alfred

Lovely home 15 minutes out of town, peaceful days and nights with only a few neighbors driving down the road. We did not have a chance to use the hot tub or sauna but both of those looked extremely clean and inviting. Beds were comfy, lots of pillows. Kitchen was well stocked with condiments, spices, and extras. The bathroom is huge and super clean. There's two blankets in the living room that are so big and so soft, and the leather couches are very comfortable as well. Little off putting if you arrive at night and aren't familiar with the lay out but day two we felt right at home! 1 TV which was nice it kept us socializing instead of hiding out somewhere. Various books around to peruse. And Wendy was very kind and responsive, offering to come help if need be with anything. The closest walmart/wegmans/big box store is in Canandaigua so keep that in mind for trips. Overall truly a peaceful relaxing retreat! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and inviting cabin! The space felt very warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Keri was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. The cabin had more beds than we expected—a great surprise for our group! There were two rooms with two queen beds each, plus three bunk beds and a king bed upstairs, offering plenty of sleeping space for everyone. Highly recommend this place for families or larger groups looking for comfort and a peaceful setting.

Beautiful property and friendly host. The space was actually bigger than expected and Michael had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking this place again! 10/10

From the reservation, to the location, to the house and the hosts, this was a great house for our family gathering. Even after the weekend when I forgot something, the hosts were kind enough to make arrangement to get it back to me. The house layout made it great for everyone to connect and strengthen family bonds. Prior to our stay, the hosts were very responsive and even helped to develop a plan B when the weather impacted our plans. Thank you for a great stay! David and Audra

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at The Place! Swain was a very quiet and peaceful area (though I'm sure it gets busier during ski season), and we felt safe and enjoyed the privacy. While we did have to drive a bit for restaurants and activities, the condo was stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment that allowed us to cook meals during our stay, and also had a variety of board games for entertainment. The wifi was very spotty, but that was not a huge concern for our stay. One other thing I want to note was that there were some clothes left in closets and used toiletry items in the bathroom cabinets; I was not bothered by it since everything was very clean, but just a heads up if anyone is not comfortable with that. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of blankets and towels, and the wood fireplace was nice for chillier nights. Overall, I have to say that the condo was beautiful and exceeded my expectations - the pictures really do not do it justice!
