A beautiful red brick and stone house, recently constructed in the serene, green coastal Konkan village of Thal, 20 minutes drive from Alibaug. The Thal beach is just a 10 minute walk away. The house is surrounded by coconut groves, mature mango trees and a lovely lawn. The home, built in traditional Konkan style has used teak wood from a 100 year old bungalow and all materials and labour have been sourced locally. Our guests will enjoy a tranquil stay with locally cooked meals on request.

This has been our family second home for over two decades and one we've watched come alive from nothing. Set in a rustic 5 acre farm with a rivulet that runs by the property (unfortunately only in the monsoon), Rashmi Farms is a great place to disconnect from the city (though we have wifi if you must work). You can enjoy walks around the farm and nearby villages, a dip in the sparkling new pool, or just put up your feet with a book. All this just 2.5 hours drive from Mumbai.
