Vacation rentals with beach access in Ammoudi

This was our first time in with them know, and we were somewhat sold on Stratos offering because of it being a Seaview apartment. It was right across from the beach. It was well appointed clean modern two doors opening to the balcony that faced the ocean, a wonderful Nespresso machine with coffeejust great and Stratos met us when we checked in. We got to meet him in person. It was just a great overall experience.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at the end of October. The weather played along. For a week, nothing but sunshine and blue skies. The apartment corresponds exactly to the description. Great location, good furnishings and very nice reception at check-in. We also got good tips for restaurants and shopping. All in all, a clear recommendation! We would come back.

Nice apartment, well located close to the beach and within walking distance to the old town. Some noise from the street, but not disturbing. Nice view from balcony.

The location was great, right on the seafront, and in between a load of nice restaurants and bars. We had a car, and there is on site parking available which was perfect. The room was spotless, modern and a good size, with a good sized kitchenette. Communication with Stefani was really easy, and she was able to accommodate a late checkout for us, which involved the cleaner moving all of our things to another room, as we were returning from Chania later than expected. The roof terrace is fantastic, with an undisturbed view of the sea - the infinity pool really does look amazing, and is a real sell for this airbnb over others in the area. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Lovely little apartment right on the beachfront with direct access to the beach. Great facilities and quiet area with easy walking distance to shops, tavernas and bakery. Very helpful hosts and parking very close by for the hire car. Hot water availability seemed a bit hit and miss but in Crete temperatures this was not really a problem. Everything you need is there and waking up to the stunning beach view every morning was a joy.

A nice, comfortable and well equipped appartement with beautiful view in a calme place. The sea view is really nice, you can get in 10-15 minutes walking to Agios Nikolaios, and there is an easy acces to road to explore the magnificent island of Crete. We all felt in love with the island and it's habitants who are very welcoming and kind. Thank you George, we had a lovely stay in your place.

Lovely place and amazing host. Next to the city with a beautiful view. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The only little issue is the bad soundproofing of the house. The noises from the flat above can be disturbing if you are noise sensitive.

Wonderful little flat directly at the beach. Golden view onto the cove, terrace to sit and relax (sunbeds would have been excellent there). Despoina was super helpful and made our stay unforgetable.

Very nice accommodation, very nice view. With 2 large balconies, the beach was within easy walking distance. We wish we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend.

Niki is a lovely host, happy to help with anything and very friendly. The home is nice, cool during the hot days and in good location near the beach and supermarket. I would stay there again!

Highly recommend! A quiet area, close to everything. We stayed here start of October with our 14 yr old and 3 month old son. The apartment looks like the photos, very clean andy tidy. Very comfortable bed, was huge 💛. We had asked for a cot, which was there. The pool was lovely, very refreshing, solar heated. We were the only ones using it, due to out of main season, an unexpected luxury. The beach is a mix of sand and stones, literally just outside the gate. Within 10 mins walk is a supermarket, pharmacies, a patisserie with huge pain au chocolates - highly recommend, they also had pastries (cheese and bacon, mushroom and ham etc). If you walk along the sea front for about 20mins get into Gournes which has several beach bars, and restaurants/ cafes, we went to Taverna ambrosia, very good even had a baby change area (not everywhere has these) and soft play at the back. It’s a 45 min walk to the Creta aquarium, definitely worth a see. Ioannis arranged several taxis for us.

wonderful stay!

A big thank you to Konstantinos for our stay in Crete. The accommodation is simply great, with a swimming pool with breathtaking views of the mountains, a real asset for unforgettable moments of relaxation. The village where the house is located is also very welcoming, we highly recommend the tavern at the entrance to the village for its delicious specialties. We were also delighted by the attention of Konstantinos, who spoiled us with a fridge full of fresh fruit, delicious homemade jam jars and, of course, Raki. All of this has greatly contributed to making our stay idyllic. Thanks again for everything. We will keep a great memory of this experience.

Well-renovated apartment, very spacious and with every comfort available to guests. A beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can admire the sunset and a well-kept garden make it truly special. Vaia, Nikolas and the whole family immediately proved to be helpful and hospitable, we remember them with affection and sympathy.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

Argyri and her husband were the best hosts I've ever stayed with, and the apartment was absolutely flawless: excellent location, close to the old city, restaurants and the beach The apartment had absolutely all the facilities: there was nothing we needed and not exist in the home. Furnished modernly and with great taste, the apartment is bright and welcoming, with a large terrace where you can drink coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts welcomed us with a cake, with fruits, wine and juices in the fridge, and upon departure they gave us local honey. Very friendly, they spent time with us and explained to us the best places to eat, what to visit around the city and in the city. it was everything I could have wished for and I can't wait to come back for a much longer period with my daughter. We had a great stay! The apartment had everything we needed with a beautiful view from the balcony. Good location, just 15 min away from Agios Nikolaos. Would recommend!

What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

We spent very nice four days here. The view is really beautiful and in 10 minutes you can walk to a supermarket. In front of the house you could park well.

This place cannot be faulted, excellent host, we wanted for nothing. Great location for centre of town, easy walking distance to amenities, would come back here again without hesitation

this was a fantastic location, while you're in a busy area the apartment is actually peaceful and relaxing, the jacuzzi is perfect, the views from the balcony are unbelievable and it's a great spot for sunbathing, eating, drinking and relaxing. everyone has been super helpful and communicative from the minute we booked, the shop being downstairs means they are there almost 24/7 if you need anything. from this location there's so many things to do, we went on a bus to heraklion and hired a car and highly recommend agios nikolaos but you can really make your trip whatever you want it to be. thanks for a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed being guest at Dimitris place. The apartment is very cosy and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped (oil, vinegar, spices, sugar, coffee).

Thanks for the great stay. The apartment is very clean, well renovated, practically furnished, only 3 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes on the promenade to the old town and despite the location on a busy road quite quiet. Parking the rental car was also quite unproblematic. Free parking is available in the area. The balcony is a bit narrow and not so suitable for sitting outside (especially since it is also a bit noisy outside). All in all, a great stay.
