A lovely, comfortable studio overlooking a tree filled valley, overlooking the Ionian Sea and the southern tip of Corfu. Ideally suited for one or two persons who would like to get away from the busy pace of life. Sitting high on a hill, the studio is located a very short drive, 3 km from the main town of Paxos, Gaios.
“I would highly recommend this amazing studio in Paxos. It was a beautiful place to stay. The studio was clean, comfortable and cosy. It had lots of lovely touches, like coffee and honey for guests, a basket of books and a beautiful painting on the wall. The view from the terrace is stunning! The host was really helpful and quick to respond. There is a supermarket just next door which is handy, two restaurants about five minutes walk away. Gaios is about twenty minute walk down hill, where you can easily catch a bus across the island, or rent a car/motor bike. As a solo traveler I felt safe in the studio and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.”
2-bedroom house with kitchen and bathroom. There is a courtyard outside and balcony with view of the sea. It is located in the area of Antipaxon a small island beside Paxos
“We enjoyed staying at Kaloiri House for 4 nights. The house itself is really cute and cosy, plenty of space for 2 people. The terrace is lovely and the location is incredible. There is a spot for swimming only 7 min walking down to the sea. Famous Vrika and Voutumi are 15-20 min walking through little orchards and paths. But our personal favourites were Rodovani on the west coast and also another beach on the south of the island where there was an abandoned lighthouse. We were completely alone in both of them. We felt so privileged as most people had to leave the island on their boats by 4-5pm and we could stay on the beaches until the sunset. Giota’s father gave us a lift to the island on his boat and this experience alone was very enjoyable. He’s an amazing host and made us feel like at home. Everybody we crossed paths on the island was extremely kind, giving us grapes from their orchards and inviting us to their houses. The place feels like going back in time and it is the kind of travelling that is both inspiring and authentic. Overall a really recommended experience for those that want to get away from the crowds and have an authentic stay in a lovely tiny greek island.”
