The shabby chic apartment at Gladheim

Welcome to beautiful Aremark. A quiet and good alternative to a vacation by the sea. The apartment is located in a larger house. The house is located by Lake Aremark and has its own shoreline. Here we also have our own swimming jetty with a small slide, canoes, kayaks, small dinghies, bicycles and a large play area on the grass. There are great hiking opportunities in the area. Strømfoss with its charming Møllerens Hus is a short drive away. A little further by car are both Halden and Ørje, both places offer history and nice areas.

Here you can swim, barbecue, fish, go boating, paddle, watch the locks, go for a walk in the beautiful countryside or just enjoy the nature and the view from the terrace.

Big house with style

The main house at Søndre Hallesby is suitable for large families or friends who want to vacation together. The house/farm has a good atmosphere and a unique history that is well taken care of. Plenty of space/many living rooms and large pantry. The farm is located in the middle of Haldenvassdraget and the border lake Stora Lee. A well-developed forest road network provides unlimited opportunities for cycling and running in beautiful nature. Animals are not allowed. The place is not suitable for outdoor parties.

High-standard cabin with beach, boat and sauna

Relax with the whole family at this unique cabin with its own beach, dock, and sauna. The cabin is located by the scenic Lake Stora Lee on the border with Sweden. Here, you can swim in the crystal-clear water, go on a leisurely canoe trip, go fishing by boat, or hike, run, and bike on the area's many trails and forest roads. It is a 20-minute drive to Aremark city center, where there is a store and a gas station, and a 45-minute drive to Halden or Ørje. It takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to Oslo.

Cabin in Aremark is rented out.

We rent a new and modern cabin. There are 3 bedrooms, suitable for 6 people. The cabin has good sun conditions throughout the day. It is a great place for lazy summer days with long breakfasts, a hike down to the beach for a swim, a boat ride with one of the boats (which is free to borrow). The cabin is very suitable for families, but also for adults who want to enjoy the tranquility of the forest. There are many nice hiking opportunities, outdoor activities and fishing opportunities in the area.

A rare opportunity to enjoy lazy days with your own large plot, beachfront and a sheltered location – ideal for those who want peace, quiet and comfort. The Lerbukta Cottage is located in undisturbed, idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The Halden watercourse is floating past, and the distance to the lake Ara is just about 30 metres. The cabin is well equipped and has a large sitting room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and a washing machine. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom. The sauna is in the side building. The cabin has WiFi.

Come to the woods and experience the small farm idyll! Here at Ertehaugen, there is a short walk to the water's edge and a sea of forest. With soft beds, running water and electricity, you get comfort in the simple life in the woods. The small farm consists of a main building and two smaller buildings. Do you want to find the tranquility of the forest, enjoy lazy days on the edge of the dock with a little paddle trip in the afternoon? Or do you have children who love to swim and build tree houses in the woods? All this you can experience in our cabin from the TV show "Eventyrlig oppussing". Access to two kayaks and a rowing boat.

Charming granary in beautiful natural surroundings

A unique example of the croft culture in Østfold is Bøensætre in Aremark municipality. A croft where the interaction between nature, animals and people is put in focus. The house is almost unchanged from when it was built sometime in the first half of the 19th century.
