The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. Welcome to our house by the sea! A cute terraced house in a quiet settlement not far from the dyke and Wadden Sea. It is bright and cozy. It is heated with a bio-infrared heater and otherwise we try to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. Through the large panoramic window in the living area you can see the dyke and have a wide view over the field. Everything seems wonderfully relaxing.

Time out in the countryside

This quaint apartment invites you to relax and enjoy. In the middle of the countryside next to a cow meadow is the best place to relax. The area can be explored on foot or by bike. On cold days, you can make yourself wonderfully comfortable in front of the pellet stove. The cities of Leer and Papenburg are in the area and invite you to stroll, shop or visit a restaurant.

The bookable

The Buchbar is bookable and is an original Mongolian yurt that stands in a 2000-square-meter natural garden. It immediately takes the guest to another distant world and lets him sleep, as in a palace from 1001 and a night. In the book bar there are approx. 200 picture books for the little guests and a substantial book box for adults to browse, view and read and to borrow.
