Old Veterinarian Office, Heart of Amish Country!

In 1946 my parents lived here, using the upstairs as dad's veterinarians office. I've remodeled it using their doors, sinks, and artwork, an Amish made bed & bedding, and included locally made soaps & coffee. My parents were simple, peaceful, and relaxed, and I hope you feel that during your stay. This unique building has one bedroom, one bathroom, a small living area with a pull-out couch and kitchen. It is located just minutes away from downtown Berlin, local farms, bakeries and so much more!

This beautiful two-story home located on a quiet, brick-paved street in the heart of Sugarcreek is perfect for any getaway! Built in the 1930s, this home has great charming character. Like slightly steeper stairs, to the bedrooms, and a few inconveniently placed light switches. Which is common for such homes. Only a short walk, Downtown Sugarcreek features The World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock. Ohio's "Little Switzerland" has several unique shops, sure to offer a wonderful experience for everyone!

Serenity Lane Lodging in Amish Country

We're in the heart of Amish country. Just down the road is Der Dutchman, Coblentz Chocolates and a lovely cafe called Rebecca's Bistro. There are a few small shops, a hardware store, an antique mall and about a mile down the road is Walnut Creek Cheese. Head West on state route 39 about 10 minutes and you'll hit Berlin which is full of shops. Head east and you'll hit the local flea market and Sugarcreek which has the best pizza around (Park Street Pizza) and the world's largest cuckoo clock.

The Farmhouse at Cattail Creek is located in the heart of Amish country family farms near Baltic, Ohio. Although Marv and I are not Amish we have many close friends and relatives who are. We appreciate our heritage and the culture around us. We enjoy sharing this unique setting with our guests. The house is a big rambling farmhouse that will encourage you to relax and use all three levels to spread out. A deck and patio will encourage you to spend time outdoors as buggies and bikes go by.

Dream Away Cottage in Berlin

Summer is slowly fading. Enjoy fall with us. Dream Away the whole night in our lovely queen bed. We have a pullout sofa for a third guest. We recommend the third guest be a child. Enjoy our heated bathroom floor. Make a cup of coffee, sit in the hickory rocker and read one of our books. Or you might prefer to play a game. You will enjoy the quiet atmosphere. The shops are only 2 minutes from the cottage. Shop during the day or visit the many attractions close by. We have suggestions for you.
