NANA'S Place is a quaint cottage with a long history dating back over 100 years. It was Marilyn's nana and pops home for over 60 years, it had a commercial past and some association with The Blue Streak, Jack Donaldson Jr., who held several world sprinting records in the 1900s. Centrally located it is close to pubs, cafes, chemist, supermarket & antique shops. It is a short drive to the Inglewood Golf Club & a walk to Bowls. A laneway at the rear of the cottage also provides off-street parking.
“Upon arrival we admired the immaculate front garden with seating on verandah, the access key was easy to find. The furniture and bedding was comfortable and everything was super clean. The decor fitted the style of a miners cottage and we enjoyed the ambience and modern coffee machine etc. We brought our ear plugs noting before the main road and slept really well. The parking at rear of property was excellent, and gated. We had our meals at bakery, three doors down and the Empire hotel. The food was exemplary at both places. People were very friendly and helpful . I can certainly recommend Nanas place and the friendly country people of Inglewood.”

“We had a great stay and would love to come back. We loved the fact that the house was so spacious and it felt miles from anywhere but so close to the town. Kerrie was a great host. Bread, milk, margarine supplied along with other pantry items, even choccies in a bowl in the lounge. I would highly recommend Parklands Retreat and will book to stay at Kerrie's place again.”
The historical Westpac bank of Boort; a delightful double brick two story building with views of the lake and a one minute stroll to the shore. It's an old house we fell in love with, filled with light and beautifully cool in summer. The location is amazing - pub across the road, a balcony above the street, cafe and shops two doors down. We have decorated everything vintage - reused, recycled, old furniture, second hand or free, in simple floral tones. Everything you need for a lovely holiday.
“Hi there , Porridge & Daisy ! We had a delightful stay at your bank and it was super convenient for the 4 of us going to the Olive Oil Course which was held at BRIC a 2 minute walk down the road . The cafe was most convenient as well for that Morning Coffee . Great for families with so many bedrooms and heaps of games & DVDs”
