Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

On the edge of a nature reserve, just outside Amsterdam, you’ll find our fully renovated guesthouse. Comfortably and recently renovated farmhouse with two bedrooms in a small village directly located at the Markermeer. It's quiet and surrounded by nature with lots of water birds. There is a terrace at fishing and swimming water with great sunsets. The house caters for 4 people. There is a well equipped kitchen and smart TV with Netflix. Well suited for a long weekend or longer holidays for relaxing, cycling and visiting Noord Holland. Amsterdam as well is at half an hour by car or bus.

Situated in the countryside, a light and modern studio with amazing view. The studio has a queen size bed, bathroom and separate toilet. Airconditioned. It’s decorated with modern art and vintage details. From the studio you will step out on your private terrace. Studio offers free coffee and tea as well as free WiFi. B&B Wellness "De Bourgondische Lelie"

Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Oosthuizen Studio, for short and longer stays.

The studio is the top floor of our back house, with its own entrance, small shower/toilet and kitchenette. The space is 10 by 6 meters, overlooking the Beemsterringvaart. It's a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Bus 314 will take you one way to the historic city of Hoorn and the other way to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus takes 40 minutes to get there. It is best to buy tickets in advance of your visit to Amsterdam travel tickets so that you can use all public transport (26/33 euros)
