Nice & quite place to stay with friendly neighbourhood and surrounded by 2 beautiful parks within 5 mins walk. Great place to enjoy sunshine, to read, or relaxing. Don't missed the opportunity to visit Queen Victoria Market in City for amazing Australia souvenirs and famous hot jam donuts. Unlimited Internet access is available. Self-serve breakfast with cereals ( Weetbix, Muesli, Nutrigrain & Cornflakes), bread, butter, jams, also milk, tea & coffee
“Marly, is very welcoming host and she is very easily reachable. She quickly responds when you need assistance and I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay. It’s a walking distance from northland Shopping Centre which is a bonus for already amazing place like this. Trust me, you will get good value for the price you pay😃 for this place.”
Spacious bedroom with polished floorboards plus exclusive use of adjacent large sunroom/study hall and private bathroom. 1 minute walk to tram stop for the no 11 tram (30 - 40 minutes by tram to central Melbourne.). Not far from grocery shops & post office. Not suitable for children under 12. No central heating but heaters available in each room.
“5/5 This is an excellent option in Melbourne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during our visit to attend a wedding. Helen is friendly, interesting and helpful. Definitely recommend. Good points about this place: - 11 tram stop across the road, very convenient for Northcote, Fitzroy and the city. Around 30 mins ride to CBD. - Coffee shops and restaurants less than 10 mins walk. - Very spacious, there is plenty of space for 3 people in the bedroom (1 double and 1 single bed) and other rooms - Privacy as you have your own bedroom, dining/work room and bathroom - Helen is very relaxed and helpful meaning you always feel comfortable using the shared kitchen. - Myki cards, guidebooks and umbrellas, hairdryer, access to washing machine, parking outside.Lots of towels and blankets. Helen is quick to respond to emails or messages. All in all convenient and easy. Other points to note: - In summer the room gets light early (6am-ish) and the tram also goes past outside from early morning. Whilst this is extremely convenient it also means you can be woken up early. If you're a light sleeper (like me) recommend to bring eye-mask and earplugs - I used them and had a great sleep. - There is no aircon, but there are strong fans in both bedroom and dining room. But if you need aircon during the summer its better to find somewhere else. Highly recommend this place as a base for exploring Melbourne.”
