We built the Tiny Guest House for friends and family and love sharing the space with people traveling to Bellingham. The studio is within walking distance of both WWU (1.0 mile) and downtown (0.8 miles). The Guest House is quite small (200sf), it has a queen bed in the loft and a full sized futon on the main floor. And no kitchen.
“This is the most charming lovely tiny home. The entrance is whimsical with bird houses to greet you on a fence, a fun Bellingham flag to meet you upon entrance to a private little yard. There’s a sitting porch, a fun loft bedroom or a perfectly serviceable pull out bed Chris and Amy had made up (upon request), a fully connected TV situation, and a bathroom/coffee maker etc.”
Cozy guest home by Lake Whatcom. Adjacent to our home. Outdoor hot tub, in nice neighborhood but tucked into an acre of woods. Parking, and outdoor fire to enjoy. All smoking outside. You can come as late as you want. We are always available but backyard for you so you have the utmost privacy - easy check in/out. We really want you to feel like you are home! Previously certified Home Care Aid who cleans the home has professional training and thoroughly disinfects the home before each stay.
“This is a stellar place to stay and I would highly recommend booking if it is available. My husband and I stayed here while working remotely and the WiFi bandwidth was perfect for managing the several zoom calls we had each day. Our dog Dexter loved the property as well and very quickly decided to take on the role as property guard dog. The best part is the proximity to the lake. We began and ended each day with a walk to the the lake and Dexter (a city dog), became a fantastic swimmer during our stay. Thank you to Heather & Kristin, we’ll definitely book again when we come back to visit. :)”
This listing is for the Second Bedroom of my home in the Columbia neighborhood, which is less than a mile from downtown Bellingham. Next to beautiful Elizabeth park with many trees and community concerts on Thursday evenings in the summer. From various windows one can see Sehome Hill, Mt Baker, St James church and the Bay. If you have rented the main room, you can share the main bathroom with this room or otherwise you can use the downstairs bathroom that has a shower.
“I’m a repeat guest at Stefan’s house when working in Bellingham for several reasons - impeccable cleanliness, classic style home and decor, ideal location close to downtown yet in a historic quiet neighborhood, and a nice friendly knowledgeable host who feels truly invested that you enjoy your stay and his city. Thank you Stefan for being a great host!”
