Located a short 10 minute drive from Dungog township, our farm is situated on the Williams river in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains.
“We stayed here for the June long weekend - four adults and a three year old. It was so much fun. The scenery is stunning - we watched the sun set over the mountain as we stoked up the outdoor fire and barbecue. My son adored the hosts’s dogs Tango and George... and we also got a ride on the quad to meet the cows and feed them some bread. Garry and Andrew were so thoughtful and welcoming... the breakfast supplies were delicious. Waking up in the toasty room to the sound of birds was heavenly.”
Surrounded by a vibrant canopy of greenery, our recently renovated, treehouse-inspired, hardwood log cabins are rustic on the outside, yet mindfully designed with contemporary interiors. The charm of old-world wilderness meets understated comfort, with a focus on sustainable inclusions and modern luxuries. A place for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation; a haven of open spaces and fresh air; trees and tranquillity. We invite you to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself.
“Carawirry has to be one of the most amazing Airbnb's i've stayed in. Set in a very quiet and private location with endless forests and waterways to explore it was a perfect opportunity to switch off and forget the real world for a while. Little touches like hand drawn maps with advice on what walks to take totally made the trip worthwhile and anyone who is second guessing booking at Carawirry stop thinking about it and lock it in while you can. Hearing the creek run in the background with an abundance of wildlife when you wake up of a morning and lighting a fire in your room is a real treat. Thanks so much for having us, wish we had been able to stay longer!”
A home in the township of Dungog. So very unique. Such a perfect place to stay for the festivals or work. Brand new, modern and builder designed, it has an open and light living style. Complete with new furniture, the stay is akin to a show room home with the personal details for the owners enjoyment also. This home offers a polar alternative the the historic and country options in this area.
“A colleague and I stayed at Sandra's place while in town for a short work trip. The place was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities and essentials we needed, even including pod coffee and a bottle of wine. Check-in and check-out was simple, and communication fast. Would happily stay again and would happily recommend to others. Just note the lack of WiFi in case that's important, but 3G reception on Telstra was fine and got us through. Thanks again Sandra!”
