“Wow! What a nice, wonderfully decorated place! We knew from other reviewers that to expect, but were pleased to see all the special little touches lavished on us. From the welcome sign board with our names on it to the homemade muffins and lemon curd, we felt quite spoiled. It's true there is some road noise as to be expected with the location, but Janet provided ear plugs which only one of us used. The beds... oh, the beds.... they were incredibly comfortable with luxurious linens and wonderful pillows! Thank you, Janet, for a great AirBnb experience!”

“Annely’s guesthouse is great. It was a great location between the Tongariro crossing and Waitomo, which were the two activities we were doing in the area. Steve the sheep is a hoot and Annely and Damin were very kind and great hosts. It was a hot day so we had to use the supplied fan until it cooled down during the night. There was bread for toast, fruit, yogurt, coffee (French press), and cereal supplied which was great to start our day. My husband’s first comment on the spacious bathroom was “yay, a big sink”, as all of our previous stays had very tiny bathroom sinks and no space to set anything down. Little things make a difference. :) Thanks for everything!”

“This was the best introduction to New Zealand we could have wished for. The cottage had everything. Beds were good and linen and towels so fresh. Clean and stylish. We loved the view, birds, sheep, cattle and the monopoly. So glad we stayed here on the top of the hill”
