Vacation rentals with a firepit in Berks County

My hosts were very helpful & we enjoyed our time in Ephrata. House was clean and well stocked. Parking is tight for a minivan, but it would be perfect for a compact car. Loved Refreshing Mountain, which was close and Pancake Farm for breakfast- both recommended by the hosts. Totally a thumbs up ! We will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here at Rachel’s cottage..The place is warm and cozy.The fireplace was very nice to have on during the evening.The cottage was immaculate too. The bedroom and bath upstairs were so warm and inviting. We found the location was also convenient. And a thanks to Rachel for the special treats and snacks! Plus, if you forget something, no worries. The cottage is very well stocked! Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here while on a travel contract for Reading hospital. Great location! Jennifer was responsive to all our questions and very accommodating. We extended our stay and already booked our next stay at another one of her rentals.

Great place. Very clean and well kept. It is welcoming and very peaceful. As a host Sheila is great. I would highly recommend Sheila's house and will definitely stay there agian.

We love Annette's airbnb for the huge pasture with a firepit, rows of plantation. It is a GREAT retreat place which I would for sure come back. Driving from Lancaster after the Sight and Sound show was easy and not too far. Although it is close to the main road, I did not experience any noise issues. Annette attends to details and provide amenities for us to feel right at home! The seating outdoor around the firepit and on the porch unwinded stress from busy city life; bonded my friends and us closer with talks in depth.

Probably one of the best air bnbs we’ve stayed at! Very clean, looks brand new, great style, soupy comfy! Would definitely stay here next time I’m in the area! The only reason I have 3/5 stars for the area was because it was right next to the highway

It was immediately obvious that Vanessa endeavors to b a true super host. All the extra little touches that say, “quality” were appreciated; from the soft and thick tissues, TP, paper towels and blankets to fresh eggs from her chickens, the simple country decor, and special pottery pieces. A fully stocked kitchen met every need. The location is beautiful. This modern home is surrounded by trees for privacy, is quiet & peaceful . Open the windows and door to the screened in back porch and enjoy a lovely cross breeze. The cat she mentions, Snickers, was not a problem. Never bothered us at all, just slept in a sunny spot on the porch. And finally the 11 A.M. checkout time was greatly appreciated!!

It was by far one of the cutest places we've ever stayed at. The key to unlockthe house was adorable. This place reminded us of Gettysburg. The pictures don't do this place justice. We will definitely try to get this place again when we do another staycation. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location couldn't be more convenient, just a stone's throw away from Kutztown University, which made our visit a breeze. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, providing all the amenities we could ask for. What truly made our stay memorable were the exceptional hosts, Diane and Hiester. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything needed for a perfect stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this delightful spot to anyone visiting the area.

We are so grateful to have found Linette’s listing! This space was in beautiful Pennsylvania farm country but was still about an 8 minute drive to lots of shops, grocery stores and restaurants. First and foremost, the space was perfect and everything we needed to travel with our toddler. There was a private closet space that housed a pack n play as well as book and toys. As for the adults, both rooms were in pristine condition and all spaces were cozy and comfy. I can’t wait to come back and visit not only this location but Linette as well. She was so friendly and welcoming. We also loved the tour she gave us of the farm!!

I’ve stayed at this location twice and each time was a delight. Sylvia is attentive to all the details and makes you feel welcome and right at home.

Had a great time staying here. The place is very spacious and you can tell they put thought into everything. Good location. If you are a light sleeper, there is a stoplight in front of the building and there is a good amount of traffic. Mostly in the early morning, not too bad during the night.

I highly recommend Franklyn’s place for overnight stays in Reading. First, Franklyn called ahead to know when I’d be arriving and then greeted me himself upon arrival. He was very friendly and we enjoyed a nice chat. The place included all that was advertised. There was plenty of space and the rooms/beds were comfortable. Moreover, the price is competitive with the hotels in the area. The location is basically downtown and generally safe. A lot of what Reading has to offer is in walking distance. I also highly recommend Franklyn’s restaurant, Franklyn’s Breakfast Burgers & Shakes for any meal of the day but breakfast especially. Overall, if I found myself traveling to Reading again, I would stay at this location again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The host was incredibly accommodating, providing detailed recommendations for local attractions and dining options that truly enhanced my experience. The space itself was beautifully decorated, combining modern amenities with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It was well-stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh linens, toiletries, and a fully equipped kitchen. Second time here and felt right! Will be coming back soon!!

We had a wonderful stay at Samuel's cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to make a meal. Sam was the greatest host! The cabin is very private and peaceful. We would definitely stay again, felt like home.

The cabin was well furnished and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking which we like to do when we're traveling. It felt homey and cozy and the wooded surroundings meant we could see and hear lots of birds. It was also nice to be able to walk along the creek. The only real negative was the traffic noise from the nearby highway, but we decided that it wouldn't keep us from returning for another stay. And the cookies and fresh eggs on our arrival were a sweet bonus. Thank you, Donny and Michelle for sharing such a wonderful place with us.

We celebrated Easter with my immediate family and their wives/children. It was such a wonderful spread out space with lots of room both indoor and outdoors. Hidden River Lodge is at the base of Hawk Mountain overlooking the little Schuylkill River, it is quiet and a perfect getaway for families. We fished, had an egg hunt, cooked Easter dinner, and enjoy the nature/wildlife and fire pit! Highly recommend this house and property. We will be back!

What a great country location! Whether you’re looking for a weekend get away or a place to work remotely, this spot is for you. Good WiFi so I could work remotely 👍 Super comfy beds! The best part is, Amy has hard or soft beds. So whatever you like, it’s there. There’s a beautiful stream on the property with a spot for a camp fire right next to it! It’s also a great spot to see the stars. This is a country setting, but you’re also close enough to 78 to go to many local attractions. The house was set up well for cooking! I found the house to have everything I needed and it was very comfy and charming.

My wife and I had an unforgettable two-night stay at this peaceful, beautiful cabin. It was the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. The cozy atmosphere gave us a chance to truly unwind and enjoy quality time together. It was exactly the calm and comfort we needed, definitely am coming back one day soon!

Alison’s home is beautiful. Spent two nights with the intention of spending a majority of our time relaxing in the space. The views from the loft bedroom are incredible (and appreciate that there’s so much room to walk around up there despite the pitch of the roof!). The hot tub was cozier than anticipated but absolutely lovely. A perfect spot to spend quality time with people you love or reading a good book! Will be back (if we can find available dates—it’s no wonder this place books up!!). Thank you!

Jason has put a lot of work into this glamping experience and it shows. The fire pit was relaxing while enjoying the view of the area. The large White Duck canvas tent stayed bone dry despite the showers/t’storms. The bed was firm and much appreciated after a long day outside. There was an issue with a hornet’s nest initially (expected for this time of year), which Jason took care of immediately. Thank you!
