Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Our little cozy studio is a result of our own imagination, we created it ourselves with lots of love and personal touch. Once our grandfathers´s woodship, now a cozy retreat for travellers seeing something truly different. It´s a character-filled Tiny House, set within the historic Berunes farmstead, adjacent to the original farmhouse, opposite the community church and graveyard. Your nearest neighbor is one of East Iceland´s most celebrated dining experiencve. The Berunes Restaurant (open June - August) serves and ever-changing 4-course dinner menu, paired with Beljandi craft beer and fine wines.

Welcome to our cozy studio loft on the first floor, offering breathtaking views of the fjord and the quaint town below. The sleeping area, situated upstairs and accessible via a bit narrow, winding stairs, features three comfortable beds separated by curtains for added privacy. The well-equipped kitchen providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our space perfectly blends modern amenities with retro charm, ensuring a delightful experience.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Surrounded by peaceful nature on the countryside of East Iceland these spacious and cozy cottages offer, for example, view over the Lagarfljot River and Dyrfjöll mountain. Around the place is a great wild-bird life over the summertime and here you can take a walk in the nature and enjoy some alone-time. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a furnished terrace with BBQ. Egilsstadir town center is just 30 km away.

My place is close to the airport, family-friendly activities, the swimming pool and restaurants. Close to everything the east has to offer. You’ll love my place because of the location, its close to everything you'll need. It is recently renovated so you will feel at home. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). The address is Midgardur 6, apartment number 102.

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Gíslastaðir - Cottage

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.

Sæberg, comfort in the fjord

Newly renovated building set in the fjord of Seyðisfjörður, 7 km away from the town centre. The house was a school in the older days but has now been given a modern design with beautiful views and the feeling of being away from everything.
