“My boyfriend and I stayed at Haven of Rest for a weekend trip to Lava Beds National Monument. The location was perfect for this. The unit has everything you may need - a fully stocked kitchen, towels and other bathroom supplies, two beds, couches, a dining table, plenty of storage space, private parking, and wifi. What made this stay exceptional was Deborah's hospitality. We were able to make breakfast at home with the eggs and oatmeal she provided, her delicious baked goods and apples nourished us on our adventures, she lent us flashlights for the caves, she responded to all messages promptly, and she gave a ton of recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. I highly recommend this AirBnB and will keep this place in mind if traveling in the area again.”

“This place was amazing!!!! The house and host were great, but I was so taken back by the property this Air B and B is on. It was peaceful and serene. I felt as if I was a world away. It was clean, comfortable, welcoming and breath taking view. My favorite things about it was a short hike to a beautiful pond, amazing view and sitting outside at night in the cool air, listening nature by the light of a starry night. I will definitely be back, there is so much to see near by including Burney Falls and Lassen Volcanic National Park.”

“Before booking this place, I wanted a different place but it was incredibly expensive so I didn’t book it. My husband and I just wanted a place to sleep because we planned to hike so I booked Shannon’s place. We arrived at night and found this place to be better then we thought!!! It kind of felt like we were coming home. It was cozy, had all the amenities we needed, and was close to Safeway, McDonald’s, and restaurants! Tip: Eat at Anna’s Kitchen for breakfast and have Chinese food from Dragons Palace at night. That’s a solid day. The place was clean and the bed was super comfy. If you’re here to enjoy burney falls it want local tip to get to an amazing hot spring, stay with Shannon. She’s got you covered.”
