Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Biscay

We had a wonderfull time at Nahia’s and Xavier’s house. Their house is so lovely. Super cozy and so nicely decorated. Fully equipped and more than enough room for all 5 of us (2 adult and 3 teenagers). Great spot to visit the coast, Bilbao and all those lovely ‘nature’ places in the immediate surroundings. Besides the house, both Nahia and Xabier are the most friendly hosts you can imagine. Super kind, always there whenever you have a question and Nahia is the best local guide, full of great tips, from restaurants, over beaches, hiking tours, food, local bakeries … Priceless! So yes, we would definitely recommend this wonderful place with its lovely hosts!

We were very comfortable in the house. It is cozy and has all the amenities, cooking utensils, etc. Everything in perfect condition. The house is beautiful and cozy and the place is beautiful!! There are incredible views!!! Maite showed up at all times. It was a stay of 10!!!

Great old Basque house. Both quaint and old but well-maintained. The house has a lot of niches and corners, some dust is not left out. We found it clean! Only the kitchen is a little less well maintained. The dishwasher doesn't work so well so the dishes unfortunately don't get so perfectly clean. Cute garden and outdoor area, almost only ate outside. The kids were swinging and sliding. Fernando was very nice and helpful. We can recommend the property

The house location is spectacular. Has an amazing view of the bay. The house itself is super clean and comfortable. Perfect location to relax and enjoy the rural Basque country, or to visit San Sebastian and Bilbao. We had a wonderful time.

Maria's house loved it, we were a group of friends and had a great time. Very large house, clean, and equipped. Communication with Maria was impeccable, very helpful at all times. We will definitely do it again.

The house is extraordinary super clean nothing to say, to be redone, also not too far from Bilbao and Guernica. Everything is available to you in the house to make you feel at home. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful location.

The truth is that I am delighted with the house and the place that surrounds it... the views are incredible and the peace that is breathed there... it has left us speechless. Carlos has been super thoughtful, he let us stay one more night without charging us anything and it coincided that he caught the blackout there and he was super attentive to us and made it easier for us everything that was in his hand.. the truth is that a past everything. From 10!

Super cozy house, and in a very nice area of Bizkaia. The fireplace is a plus with kids. Jose was always friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. Would definitely repeat

We were delighted to spend this vacation in this lovely little home!! Aitor was very welcoming!! He welcomed us with cider, cake, and homemade tapas☺️. In addition, he knows the area very well and gave us all the info about what there was to see or to go to Bilbao!! The garden overlooks the forest, it's very nice!! And the area is beautiful, a superb sea, very pretty mountains, in short, the dream!!

We had a great family stay at Begoña's beautiful three-bedroom apartment. Begoña is a most thoughtful and considerate host, which adds to the charm of vacationing at her place.

Apartment is very clean and ideally located to explore Bilbao and its old town on foot. Gorka's personal tips (on arrival and via chat) were tailored to our travel needs (with child), the restaurant tips are really from insiders/locals. All tea bags, coffee capsules, water bottles and fruit reserves in the apartment were filled upon arrival. Street is in the nightlife district, corresponding noises on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but only towards the front and only with the window open, otherwise very quiet apartment. We highly recommend both the apartment and the hosts.

We had a great time in this place located in the mountains near Bilbao: a quiet and relaxing place, not too far from downtown Bilbao but also not too far from the beaches of the coast. Alba and Gorka were great hosts, attentive and with good advice on places to visit in the area, I recommend it!😊

The house is in a beautiful setting, a few minutes walk from the town of Otxandio, very well connected by road in any direction. The house is very well furnished, and it is very comfortable for a large group. The rooms were spacious and the garden was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay with Manu and Sissi who are adorable, responsive and flexible hosts. Very clean and beautifully decorated, the house is bright, spacious and comfortable to live in. Beautiful common and private spaces in a green setting, well equipped kitchen and large enough to prepare meals together without bothering each other. Very comfortable bedding and sofas in the living room with a lovely view of the garden. In the basement, sports & leisure equipment (ping pong, foosball, darts) for fun with the family. Large operational barbecue on the terrace for the tasty sardine grills of Mercado de la Ribera de Bilbao. Interesting area for city walks, cultural visits (Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and Peace Museum in Guernica not to be missed), swimming and hiking with spectacular viewpoints. Nearby supplies (Carrefour, Lidl 15mins drive) and delicious local pintxos! In short, a score without a downside. We recommend!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place! We stayed in the house in Barrika for 5 days and it was such a great experience. Totally amazing house, wonderful host, and a super nice large pool. We were already thinking about booking it again next year - after the first day. We were 2 adults, 1 teenager and a 6-year old - and we had lots of extra space in the house. The garage is also really convenient with its entrance to the house both via the garden and directly via stairs. It was surprisingly fast to get to and from Bilbao city, too - and the airport was a very short drive. We already miss the views from the balconies, the pool and the beautiful house. Can't recommend this place enough.
