Our 30' yurt sits at the top of a 25 acre pasture grazed by sheep, lambs and laying hens with phenomenal views of Whiteface and the Adirondack mountains. Plenty of space for 2-6 people on an adventure into the mountains available from September - early June. Firewood (only heat source) for purchase at the farm, bring sleeping bags for cold weather. Our yurt is not a fully conditioned space, it's a somewhat insulated tent. Plan accordingly, read the reviews, ask questions.
“The yurt is an amazing place and we loved our stay there. My friend and I needed an escape and Blue Pepper Farms offered us just that. The location is perfect, the views are beautiful, the company of the sheep dog is unbeatable and I highly recommend this place to anyone considering it for a peaceful and pretty stay in the heart of the Adirondacks. Go for it, you won’t regret it.”

“Marty and Melissa are the best hosts! My husband and I enjoyed an extended stay at the Pine Loft recently. What a lovely place to be! Surrounded by nature and beautiful cross country trails, Whiteface mountain nearby, and do much more, we were in heaven. The Pine Loft was stocked with everything we needed and was very clean. The whispering pine trees and the sound of the rain on the A-frame house will be greatly missed. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and making many great meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable and the deck off of the bedroom was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or for blowing bubbles on a sunny day. We also enjoyed having fires in the fire pit out back and stargazing at night. Marty and Melissa were always available whenever we had a question and responded very quickly. If you have an opportunity to stay at one of their properties do it! The Adirondacks are magical and Marty and Melissa's hospitality won't disappoint. Thank you for a great stay. We are grateful!”

“I had a great stay at this location! Take note of the directions the host gives as my friend got sent to the same address but in lake placid. I had no trouble finding the place. Very quiet and at the end of the road! The first floor was very cool and comfortable. The bed is very comfy! The second level was warm and if your cooking it get toasty fast. The best was equally as comfortable on this level. Kitchen was stocked well the only thing I had to bring was coffee filters and coffee. TV worked well with Netflix and internet service was fast. The deck was cute but bring extra chairs for the deck and fire pit down below! They supplied some fire wood, which was great. I would suggest to bring some charcoal, even though the propane grill was provided. Also bring some skewers for the grill. I bought some wood ones in town but those did not work well. Overall the food turned out great! The upstairs loft is very cute, however we did not use those beds! Great for kids! The cabin is close to a small town that has a convenience store that had all the items I needed. So many hiking trails nearby and ponds to swim in!! As the host mentions there are bugs that get inside but nothing outside of the norm for camping. There are some bees and wasps that tried to get in from the deck, but I could not find a nest anywhere so just be mindful if you have the screen door open. I found a couple had gotten in even when the screen was shut and I had to use the fly swatter that’s in the kitchen closet. (I’m highly allergic, so I didn’t want to mess around with them). The host kept in touch and had quick responses. I would recommend this place and would be happy to stay again!”
