“Tara's place in Bowers Beach was close enough to Dover AFB to be incredibly convenient, yet very, very peaceful and quiet. My parents were very pleased with my Mom actually commenting on arrival that she thought it might be more space than we needed. We made use of the well stocked kitchen, played a game we purchased at a local thrift shop and had a blast. Tara has games, cards, magazines and you can even find a book to keep at the neighborhood library kiosk on Main St. The town and wharf are fun to explore. JP's on the Wharf was a nice place for dinner and drinks and we graciously served just twenty or so minutes before closing. They would have been closed the following day (Monday). Weekends in summer, you can visit the Bowers Beach Maritime Museum and if it's closed, Tara has a booklet about the area in the binder if you're interested. Tara's place has a rooftop deck for a couple or small family, plenty of sleeping space and lots of hospitality. It would be nice if everyone who used platforms like Airbnb or Turo, treated things as if they were their own, but I digress. I highly recommend Tara's place.”

“Beautiful historic home. Alta is a wonderful host. Very communicative, friendly and helpful. The house is very clean, nice, well kept. The bedroom was comfortable. Would love to stay again.”
2-story home located on a corner lot, well lit entryway, close to restaurants, mall and casino.
“This is an excellent place for a short stay or transitional stay as I had. I stayed nearly a month and everything was fine. It is, however, Celestine's home so don't expect a commercial type setting. Family members come and go. The private room was excellent, and I loved the privacy. If you're big on privacy, outside your room, you'll be sharing the kitchen area with family most of the time. For me it was a great transition while seeking my own apartment in Dover to begin my studies at a college. It's a very friendly and chatty atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay.”
