“Francisca's home is a very spacious and lovingly constructed house, with large rooms, well heated, a huge shower, nice touches (very nice soap!) in a friendly small town with cafés and bars close by, where you can get tapas or breakfast, cheap and delicious! Hilaria received us so nicely, and kindly boiled the kettle for us when we arrived exhausted after our journey.”

“In residential neighborhoods, very quiet but with the comfort of typical shops in a town. Very close to Granada and good access to A92. The great house made us feel very comfortable. The water thermos is electric and must be taken into account when showering 4 people. The cozy living room thanks to the heat system and a great kitchen. A fantastic patio with BBQ.”
Casa Caballos, a traditional, fully-furnished rural Spanish cortijo nestled in the olive-growing hills above Loja, glorious views to the lake of Iznajar and up to the peaks of the Sierras Subbeticas natural park. Centrally located within Andalucia (for Granada, Cordoba, Seville), great hiking, 4 minutes to village, wireless internet, SmartTV, DVD player, 11.5m swimming pool, kitchen, free off-road parking, 75mins to Malaga airport, pets allowed, wheelchair access, use of washing machine, etc.
“This was one of our favourite Airbnbs. Gus and Laura have spared no effort to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment, full of thoughtful little touches. The peace and tranquillity of the surroundings, with its beautiful olive plantation and garden, as well as the spectacular location, are perfect for relaxing, and the Netflix was welcome during the rainy hours! Gus has lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat and is always available to lend assistance or advice. The nearby archeological site of the Dólmenes de Sierra Martilla is well worth a visit - a short drive and stroll away. Fascinating burial grounds and spectacular views. If you stay during Semana Santa (Holy Week, coming up to Easter) be sure not to miss the local processions and festivities. Those in Loja were very impressive and colourful, with many traditional costumes and floats on display; however, we enjoyed even more the smaller but really exuberant procession in the nearby village of Zagra on Easter Sunday morning - complete with fireworks and the local very impressive brass and wind band! We hope to return to Casa Caballos in the future - there's still the swimming pool to try, in warmer weather! Thanks to you both for a great stay!”
