Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. It is located in the village of Galegos, right in the heart of the São Mamede Natural Park, in the Alto Alentejo region, just 11 km from the villages of Marvão and Castelo de Vide. It features a wood pellet stove for winter and a private outdoor pool for summer. It is the ideal place to take a break and relax, with the perfect balance of being close to everything yet far enough away at the same time.

Relaxation & Comfort

We are Javier and Juanjo and we have a single-family home on a 1000 m plot in Sierra de Fuentes, with lawn areas and a private pool. The house is divided into two completely independent floors separated by an exterior staircase that gives access to your accommodation and the pool. Access to the plot and outdoor areas are shared, and we will be happy to have you so close, but at the same time, with all the privacy of being on different and independent floors

Cozy country house, set in a serene and natural Alentejo hill with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S. Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites you to take refreshing baths through its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
