Krystal’s cute cozy cabin is spectacular. Its located right off a lake and has stunning views especially during fall. The cabin itself was spotless, well organized and designed and felt like home. And Krystal is an amazing host who is super responsive and ready to help. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Bright & spacious family getaway

AdlaiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This home is an absolutely beautiful refuge from a busy world. If you like backcountry/nordic skiing, the location is fabulous, just minutes away from Highland Lodge trails which connect to Craftsbury trails. Or drive to Craftsbury Outdoor Center easily. Kitchen, bathroom, living room, sun room, and kitchen all are fabulous. Since we went just as a couple we stayed mostly on the main floor, but the first floor/basement has a few bedrooms with twin beds for kids or additional friends. Excellent light throughout the day, and quite private feeling. Good kitchen with nice, stove, fridge, and beautiful dishware. The propane for cooking happened to run out when we were there, but Nicole was super responsive and had a truck there right away. Overall great house, great location if you like to play outside, and great hosts.

Hudson House Log Cabin Lake Parker West Glover Vt

CrystalRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Tim and Brenda‘s cabin is a great place away from the hustle and bustle. I took my Florida children to show them how I was raised in the winter time in Northern Vermont …… And Boy did they get a taste with 17 inches of snow and a low of -2🥶❄️. Brenda and Tim took very good care of us by snow plowing us out and watching us build forts and playing in the snow. Their cabin kept us quite warm with heated floors and a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. We took a trip to Burke Mountain, which is about 25 minutes away and had a great day on the mountain. We had the best vacation and can’t wait to get back up here this summer. I give Tim and Branden’s spot 10+

Peaceful Escape in Northern Vermont

SarahRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This was an amazing place to stay while enjoying the fall weather in Vermont. The location was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and across the road from the Connecticut River. Waterford itself doesn’t have much going on (which I liked!) but St. Johnsbury and Littleton are within 15-20min and have everything you need. The house was beautifully updated with all amenities needed for a comfortable autumn week, including a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry machines, fireplace, and a lovely screened porch + front deck to enjoy the weather. The bedrooms were comfortable and bright, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask since the windows didn’t have curtains. I loved the member-only area - it was worth the extra cost for the river access with private beach and boats/SUPs. I only went on my final day, but I wish I had spent every evening down on the dock by the river to watch the sunset! Overall I loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet

Historic Lakefront Cottage in White Mountains NH

SarahRating, 5 stars20 months ago
The lake house was everything we were looking for. There were plenty of towels, linens, kitchen supplies, etc to make staying for a week less of a hassle. we loved the lake and the screened in porch! If you're not afraid of some spiders (can't be helped, you're in nature!) and can make do with a TINY shower, then this place is definitely worth it.

Mountaintop Lake Retreat

CecilRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Greg and Ricky’s cozy home on Cole’s Pond is lovely and well-appointed.Nothing for cooking, serving, and enjoying a home cooked meal has been forgotten. We were greeted with delicious, carefully selected gifts, all from Vermont upon our arrival 😊 The gorgeous landscaping in the front yard attracts hummingbirds & bumblebees. The pond view out back is sublime, and floor-to-ceiling windows allow a perfect view. Not satisfied with looking at the pond, we warmed up by kayaking, and finished with an invigorating swim. There is harmless pond silt & vegetation, but you can float past it on a noodle or raft. The pond water is clear & refreshing! We visited local towns, farmer’s markets, and breweries. (“Of First and Last Things” is our latest pick at Hill Farmstead.) No matter what the excursions, we were always happy to return to the clean air, views, and silence of the pond. We hope to return to Loonhaven. Greg & Ricky are perfect hosts!

Tatebrook Cottage, Caspian Lake, Greensboro VT

MarcieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had an idyllic weekend at this magical place! Tatebrook Cottage is perfectly situated right on beautiful Caspian Lake, with a lovely (sandy!) beach, kayaks to use, and fabulous views out to the mountains. The cottage is extremely well laid out and outfitted, roomy enough to stretch out and do our own things, but with a warm and cozy feeling. Things are pristine inside and out. We loved exploring the gorgeous area on foot and by kayak, then coming back to cook excellent meals. Jennifer was a gracious and generous host, very clear and very responsive. We feel grateful to our hosts for such a wonderful visit!

Cheerful Cottage on Joe’s Pond

DouglasRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The cottage on Joes Pond was well furnished, super clean and equipped with everything needed! (Bring a bag of ice) Cottage was 100 steps to the lakefront/dock and the pergola on the lawn was a perfect spot to sit in the shade and watch the grandkids jumping off the dock. We tied the kids floaties and my brothers’ kayak to the dock and the “pond playground” was complete! The outdoor deck facing the lake was large and well furnished including a propane grill. Plenty of comfortable beds and space for everyone. The girls fell in love with the neighbors goldens and voila, they had a swimming partner. Very comfortable and Susan/Jeff were great hosts.

Charming Lake Front Cottage

VaibhavRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Beautiful, cosy cabin - with a wonderfully decorated kitchen (with personalize quotes and accessories). The host provided Netflix along with the TV - we had dinner while watching an old classic. The lake is practically part of the patio - very serene and beautiful views from the living room. Loved the stay - would've been great if we had stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend the place to anyone passing by the area.

Relaxing Cottage Retreat on Shadow Lake Glover VT

EllenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent 3 nights at Nella and James's house while we skied at Jay Peak and Burke Mountain. A winter storm hit while we were there and we had to stay put for a day. The house was warm and cozy, and we watched the storm through all the all the windows. We took a long walk and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It is definitely a place that we would like to visit again. James and Nella were very responsive and helpful!

The Loon's Nest Cottage at Joes Pond

KellyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Absolutely amazing! The deck overlooking the water was EVERYTHING! What a wonderful home base for a family vacation with our dog, Bandit! We have family in the area, and it was a great place to host cook outs and get togethers, and sleepovers for the cousins - plenty of room! Bonus that the marina is right there - we rented a pontoon for the day and took everyone out on the Pond!
