Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Calhoun County

My husband and I spent this past weekend at Shannon’s place to celebrate our anniversary. It was so warm and welcoming that we never left the whole 2 days! Shannon put up a sweet anniversary sign, left banana bread, and tons of snacks/waters. She thought of everything! This is one of the coziest places we’ve visited. The screened-in porch is great, the access to their pier and lake is amazing, we loved the fire pit, and as if that isn’t enough for a peaceful retreat they have a domesticated deer who stops by for pets! Shannon had tons of recommendations and truly made us feel at home. We can’t wait to come back!

Very much out in the wood, but beautiful and peaceful. Less than a half mile from the chief ladiega trail, and likewise for the terrapin aid station for the Chief Ladiega 100. I couldn't be more happy to see a hot shower and bed!

Mandi's place is beautiful! So warm and welcoming. The attention to detail is amazing. All decorated for Christmas! The fireplace adds a homey touch. The kitchen is large with a pod coffee/latte maker and she even provides to go cups! Bed is comfortable and big roomy shower and fancy tub if you're in the mood for a bath! Mandi is friendly and responds quickly. This will always be our first choice for a place to stay when we are in Anniston.

This house was absolutely perfect! Lots of space for our family and very convenient location. Close to grocery, restaurants, etc. We stayed here for a month while we were renovating our house and it was a great fit for our family. Angela was so helpful and quick to respond to messages. Loved cooking in the kitchen.

We were in Alabama for the Nascar race. The house is located within 30 minutes of the track. So, that was very convenient. The house is on a side street and was very quite. The only issue I had was the window in our room didn't have a curtain. As soon as the sun began to rise the room was very bright. No sleeping in :) The main floor has a very nice bedroom. But, no shower or tub on the main floor. The only showers/tub is upstairs. Just something to keep in mind if you have trouble climbing stairs. We enjoyed our stay and will stay in that area again.

Very clean home! Smelled wonderful as we arrived. Extra toiletries and supplies for anything forgotten. Keypad was tricky but once we figured it out once it was fine! Super convenient stay for Dega race weekend!! We would stay again. Great host & responsive.

Travis and Jessica were wonderful hosts. They were so responsive to all of our needs. I cannot say enough good things about the way they cared so much that we were comfortable and happy. The price was extremely reasonable. The location was beautiful, up on a hill with a great view to the south. It is an excellent location for proximity to Talladega racetrack. We hope to return at some point.

We highly recommend this place. Very clean, charming old farm house & has everything you need as well. I really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings, listening to the mockingbirds, cardinals, blue jays etc. Even saw the resident Guinea, the mini donkey as well as the cows. Be sure & visit Big Daddy’s Cafe in White Plains. Cleanest cafe with great burgers.

We enjoyed our stay a beautiful, quiet location, peaceful surroundings and very nice, unique decor. The home is very spacious, updated great to sit at diningroom, livingroom or back porch together with your group of registered guest. Kelsey was very nice and responded in timely manner to all communication as well as proactively communication.
