Vacation rentals with a firepit in Cameron Parish

Another wonderful fishing trip in Port Arthur!! Caught lots of trout, right off the dock. Loved the partial covered deck to protect us from the sun. Next time, we plan to dip in the pool during fish feeding times!!

We had a fantastic and relaxing stay. Caught a slew of trout, redfish and blue crabs. Enjoyed the kayaks and hunting for shells. Overall fantastic location and well worth the money when combined with a great host who has covered everything.

My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

This quiet little condo was everything we needed for our week long getaway. nice fishing and crabbing spots all around and very close. We really enjoyed our time there.

This place is absolutely amazing! It's our second year spending our Easter break here, and we will continue to return for as long as we are able!

The Spotted Tail had a historical camp feel with all the modern necessities. It was clean and comfortable with an awesome view of the lake. We enjoyed fishing from the pier and there was easy access to the boat launch. We enjoyed playing family games at night around the game table in the living area. The beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers. There was plenty of covered outdoor seating including a hammock. The host, David, came by to check on us and was very friendly. He was very responsive. We enjoyed it so much we’d love to go back.

We absolutely loved the place. The decorations were amazing, along with the appliances. I loved having the Keurig and filtered water from the fridge. I will say the only negative thing was the amount of wasps inside the house and the screened in porch. Outside I will tolerate them, but killing them in every room inside including the screened in porch was not good. We have another stay coming up in May and I’m sure that problem will be solved. Other than that, absolutely wonderful!

Love the place! Great camp, used it for a place to rest for duck season. Boat launch in camp ground, the shop has everything you need! Everyone in the camp ground was super friendly! Really ensure our weekend there!
