Vacation home accommodations in Capo Milazzo

If you want to visit the Aeolian Islands with an enchanting sea in front of a wonderful terrace and everything you need but without the chaos of a tourist spot, this is undoubtedly the ideal place. We loved Lipari and in particular Canneto (5 minutes by car from Lipari). The apartment is clean and well maintained and Ivan is more than available. I really hope to be able to go back soon!!

Pleasant and well located apartment in Lipari (10 minutes from the port and less than 5 minutes from the marina where the excursions leave). The terrace is very nice and the welcome was perfect. Giuseppe was very responsive in resolving some issues. I would recommend this apartment which is a good value for money.

We had an outstanding experience for our family of eight! The accommodations were excellent and reflected the description and pictures. Giovanni and Elena were wonderful hosts and were responsive from the initial arrangements to our final departure. We would highly recommend this villa.

The apartment was very comfortable for the 2 of us, and the balcony outside space was great, with a super view. The apartment is away from the main part of town, but that was great, as it did not feel that we were trapped in a busy touristy area. But it was close enough to walk quickly into the main part of town in less than 10 minutes. The main part of Taormina is lovely, but small - it was busy in April, but i can imagine it would be absolutely rammed in summer. Make sure you walk up to Castelmola - it is even smaller, but lovely, and the walk up (which starts very close to the apartment) is lovely, with great views (if rather steep! But it is stepped all the way). If you come by train, the station is quite a way from Taormina (and at the bottom of a step hill - we walked down and it took 35 minutes). Get a taxi going up - though it is about €25.

The appartment was perfect for us, clean, spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, excellent wi-fi and a lovely roof top terrace with views of the sea and the Italian mainland. Maria and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The beach was very near with few people on it, parking on the promenade was free, and Sant Alessio was a quiet, untouristy town with a nearby supermarket and restaurants/pizzerias. There were many great places to visit within easy reach. I would recommend this Airbnb without hesitation.

The place is amazing! I especially want to highlight the view from the spacious bedroom, which features a beautifully crafted and super comfortable bed. We left the balcony door open at night so we could wake up to the sound of birds at sunrise—truly magical. The apartment has everything you need for cooking, is spotlessly clean, and the large terrace is the perfect spot to unwind and escape the pace of urban life. Claudio and his wife were incredibly welcoming and always responsive. Claudio even helped us arrange a scooter rental (below my own price research on Lipari) We absolutely loved our stay, highly recommend it, and will definitely be coming back!

A nice stay on a unique island. As others have noted, due to volcanic nature of the island, there might be sulfuric smell around - that and the fumaroles in the beach next door certainly is something I really never experienced before and might be annoying to some people. Overall it’s a quiet apartment equipped with everything necessary. Owner is a nice guy and a musician - you may get to hear him in a local bar :)

Giovanni place was perfect. Top locatation and super peaceful vibe up on the mountains. highly reccomend.

The location in Forgo d'Agro was a great experience. It is a notable climb up the hill on a good road but well worth it. Alessandra's place was spacious and well equiped. It has fantastic views over the Mediterranean, Taormina and even to Mt Etna. We enjoyed many a drink on the patio area taking in the views. Communications with Alessandra was easy and comprehensive. The added breakfast goodies was much appreciated. We would recommend this accommodation. Thanks Alessandra.

Flora's house has a simply breathtaking view, in a quiet area, but still full of amenities. Getting around downtown Lipari is very simple and tends to be fast. The beach is literally under the house and is one of the most beautiful in Lipari. Flora was very nice with us, super kind and hospitable, she provided us with a lot of useful tips on where to go to eat and what to do! Recommended experience!

We spent five fantastic days in Sergio's place, the house has all the necessary amenities and amenities that distinguish it, such as the small courtyard at the back and the outdoor garden with breathtaking views of Canneto. The welcome was very welcome, and we also spent an evening with Sergio on the terrace. I definitely recommend staying overnight in this apartment.

The stay was wonderful. The place is surrounded by greenery and is very quiet, not to mention the breathtaking view! You can reach the archaeological area and the sanctuary comfortably on foot in a few minutes. A few kilometers away by car, you can reach beautiful beaches. Emanuela was really kind and helpful, she gave me a lot of advice on what to do in the area. Surely the property will be my point of reference for when I return to Tindari!

Cristina is a fabulous host that met us at the apartment at check in. The apartment had everything we required for a great stay, and if we did need something (knife, chopping board) Cristina purchased and delivered it promptly. We cooked most evenings and there are great shops selling all we needed to do so within walking distance. A beautiful beach is a stones throw from the apartment. There is a bus stop across the road to take you to Taormina and the train station, but forget the timetable, these buses run a rather erratic timetable all of their own. The apartment was spotless and roomy enough for a family of three. Would definitely recommend.

Functional and cool house, great location. So much tranquility and excellent hospitality of the host. I plan to repeat the stay maybe extending a little to transform the vacation into what was once called the vacation.

A true taste of Italian hospitality found in Villa Franca, by your host, Giuseppe. This villa is accurately described as pictured with true beauty, spacious areas and cleanliness. Giuseppe's villa is a great find in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Giuseppe's kind gestures in sharing complementary beverages and breakfast treats only reinforce the pride in his Italian culture. An English to Italian translator is most helpful. You will need transportation, if you truly want to see southern Italy. Villa Franca is so welcoming we hope to return again. Cute little place in a small town just a few kilometres from the busy roads of Messina. It has everything you need, in the apartment as well as in the town. A restaurant, bar, bakery, gelateria. The room and bathroom feel very spacious. Thank you Giuseppe!

We had a great stay at Alidas Casa Fortuna. If you're looking for a quiet, simple and cosy place for relaxing, this is it. Big bedroom with comfy bed, nice bathroom, well equipped kitchen and cosy livingroom. The house is located in a very private location surrounded by olive-, lemon- and orange trees. So freshly squeezed orangejuice is a good way to start your day. Perfect view to Etna is also included. It's only a short walk to the village, where you can do your food shopping. Walking to Giardini-Naxos is possible in about 20 min. It's a little challenging at first, but once you understand the route, it's easy :) There are also many options with the bus. Alida and her family, who live 2 min. down the hill, were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Alida organised pick-up from Catania airport as we arrived very late, helped us with bustickets, gave us lifts to town, invited us into their beautiful home. All in all, a very good experience and we can only recommend it.
