Vacation rentals in Carmoo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and really appreciated the close proximity to the beach. The unit accommodation was perfect for our family as we were very comfortable and were able to relax as planned. Thank you Ha & Glen for having us and we hope to return again.

Kirsty’s place is lovely and the setting, right next to the creek, is idyllic. There are cute, friendly, cows and horses in a nearby barn which Kirsty or her hubby come to feed each after on around 5 pm, but they politely let you know in advance, even though it’s doesn’t impact your privacy at all. The house itself is spotlessly clean. (How do they get it THAT clean?) Everything you could possibly need has been thoughtfully provided. The house is quite dark, but there’s lots of combinations of overhead lights and some lamps available so you can get it how you like it. The bed is super comfortable and the shower is great! The kitchen is bespoke, and as I’m very short (5 ft), I found the units and sink a bit high, but this meant I escaped the washing up! All in all, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return. We loved it and highly recommend it.

This is our second stay and again we had a lovely time. A great family friendly house in a beautiful location. We’ll be back!

Fantastic spot. Photo definitely don’t do this place justice. Todd was a great host for us and all our needs - we ended up staying an extra night because the place was so beautiful and private. The private entrance to the beach was such a bonus to our stay. Can’t thank Todd enough! We will be back and absolutely recommend to those looking for a comfortable cosy stay.

Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for: a home that allowed us to relax and disconnect from our busy lives for a while. The location was beautiful and there were so many windows to take in the view. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable, we felt right at home. Gail was very helpful with information, even providing a pin board with information about local attractions and take away menus. We enjoyed our time there so much that we’re hoping to visit again.

We had a lovely stay at Litoria with my partner, 2 children and small dog. The whole place is very modern and luxurious with gorgeous fittings and stylish surrounds. We loved walking through the public shortcut access to the beach and wandering along the sand at the expansive beach. It was quiet with barely anyone around. We could walk to the skate park, splash park and basketball court which were all together on the beachfront. It was a short drive out to dinner at Mission Beach and the surrounds were picturesque just be careful of the wallabies beside the roads. They were so cute. We also had a visit from a massive green tree frog which was spectacular to see. We would definitely stay here again.
