The Baroque Room - Inntiquity, A Country Inn

This room offers a queen-sized bed with baroque gilt wood, featuring a hand carved Italian headboard in gold leaf. There is a parquet floor covered by a needlepoint bordered rug. This room includes a Bombe chest with baroque hand painted accents also a vanity with the same accents. There is a gold leafed mirror over the vanity. A gathering area holds cane backed chairs with a small table and a breakfast tray. The windows are adorned with gold silk draperies bordered with gold braid trim. The lighting for the room includes a Marie Theresa chandelier & sconce. Copies of Fragonard’s Seasons featuring a Parian statue on a gold leaf bracket in the middle surround the bed as well as a Fragonard painting of Madam de Pompadour on another wall of the room. There is a TV available for streaming internet content. The atrium double door that leads out to the patio is flanked by brackets with Italian urns. This patio overlooks the pond & flower border. Fine linens adorn the bed from such brands as Frette, Pratesi, DeLorme, Sferra, Hotel Collection & Matouk some with Alencon and Point Venise lace trim including down pillows or there is a PrimaLoft option as well. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible with grab bars, a rainforest shower head, and a hand shower. The Kohler walk-in tub has adjustable and heated jets, an open flume waterspout & a optional seat for sitting or soaking. The toilet is a smart toilet controlled with a remote control with a heated seat & a built in bidet option. Wheelchair accessible vanity has a marble top & Kohler flume faucet. A large four paneled mirror with adjustable lighting reflects the large outdoor scene over the tub & an Imari vase on a gilded bracket. This interior bathroom has solar lighting for a cathedral effect.

The main feature of this room is a massive half tester bed from a Louisiana mansion converted into a queen size with curtains & valences. Fine linens adorn the bed from such brands as Frette, Pratesi, DeLorme, Sferra, Hotel Collection & Matouk some with Alencon and Point Venise lace trim including down pillows or there is a PrimaLoft option as well. The other antiques include a dresser with an elaborately carved mirror, a tall secretary with fretwork, a marble topped washstand for nightstands, an antique gas/electric light fixture & a sling-back two-piece chaise lounge. There is a TV available for streaming internet content. The bathroom features an impressive whirlpool tub. It has 8 jets to soak away aches & strains along with a seated area in tub & a wall shower for quick bathing as well. The patio doors open to a private patio for two near a pond overlooking the gazebo.

Comfortable 3 bedroom in nice quiet neighborhood.

My home is located in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood on the northeast side of town close to parks, trails, the Eel River and the 4-H fairgrounds which is just around the corner. VIBRANT EVENT CENTER 1.9 miles away. It takes only a few minutes to get anywhere you want to go in Logansport from this location. If clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing quarters is what you desire during your stay with easy access to anywhere in Logansport, than this is it.

Cozy Cottage

Camden is in a small farming community in Carroll County. You may even see a horse and buggy go by in the morning. We have a great breakfast and lunch place 2 blocks away. Outside of town you have to visit the 218 Market that has great baked goods and lots of other goodies. Delphi is 7 miles away and has several good restaurants, trails to hike and the Wabash & Erie Canal Center. We are a short drive to Lafayette and Purdue via the Heartland highway.

You can watch the birds on the various feeders and visit (if you like) with the friendly neighbors that often cruise the neighborhood in their golf carts when weather is nice.
