Chalet vacation rentals in Castle Mountain

This is a wonderful place except lots of cottages surrounded it which we don't see from its published photos. The property is very clean and nicely kept. We could not find a exhaust fan in the kitchen and thus, we were worried about cooking. Main TV in the sitting area is in a cabinet and it can be locked. The doors of that lockable compartment can be open only 90 degrees. Thus, unless you sit right in front of the TV, people seated in sides cannot watch the TV. But overall I will give 5 stars.

Jennifer's place was perfect for 2 families of 4, spacious place to stay with lots to do in the community. We had meals plans for each day of our stay and their kitchen had everything plus more. Lots of activities like boardgames at the Airbnb that kept the kids busy then outside to hang in the hot tub and watch golfers finish up in the 9th hole. Thanks Jennifer for being a great host. we will be back next year to make this our annual getaway.

what an absolutely beautiful place to stay, both the home and yard were spectacular! We needed a place to get some R&R and this location was perfect for us. We all found a cozy, place to relax and read and there was enough site seeing/adventure to balance it all out. I highly recommend renting here, we would have stayed longer if we could have.

Charlotte's place is as described. Well maintained with all of the convenience of home. The location is secluded, peaceful and the views are amazing. The only challenge with staying here is the driveway (hill) to the house is steep. If you do not have an all wheel drive (4x4) with good tires, getting up and down in the winter is a challenge.

Property is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest! House was clean and welcoming! My friends and I would highly recommend booking this property!

Had a great stay at Mike and Karen's place! They were communicative and the location was good and not too far from Golden. We found the kitchen well stocked and plenty of towels between both units for the hot tub/showers. The unit is actually next to a wolf sanctuary if you are into that, it's also pretty cool to hear them howling occasionally.

We had a fantastic time at Kicking Horse. The house was perfect for our group of 6. The ski-in, ski-out access was highlighted by the massive ski room, which made it easy to assemble gear and dry out clothes. The kitchen & dining room were plenty big and easy to navigate. Had no issues with the hot tub; it was on and ready-to-go. The grill outside was very convenient and all the views were impeccable. Took us a couple tries to learn the ski-in route, but even if you miss it, you don't have to walk far to locate the house. We also found Kicking Horse to be a skiers paradise; plenty of steeps, hikeable terrain, and almost no crowds. Would love to come back one of these days.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is very spacious - we were a group of 8 adults and 4 kids and we were very comfortable. We didn't fill all the beds, but I imagine it would still feel very roomy had we occupied it to capacity. The cabin is clean and VERY well stocked. The kitchen has everything you need to cook just about anything and the air hockey table and board/card games got a lot of use. It's not exactly a ski-in/ski-out, but it's a quick 5 minute walk to the base of Kicking Horse Resort. Beautiful and quiet location. Todd is super responsive and provided very clear instructions. There is a minimal charge for fire wood, which we were happy to pay. I would highly recommend staying here.

We are 1000% thrilled with our stay. The chalet was perfectly appointed, no one felt like they got a bad room. Ski in ski out, great location and views. John was super responsive to all our questions and was lovely to deal with!! Perfect for a large families or multiple couples.

Great location, neat and clean, very nice to have 2 separate bedrooms and washrooms for families. Appreciated the free parking on the premises. Nice neighbourhood and very close to downtown. Great value for the quality of this accommodation and would definitely stay here again!

Great location, just 4 minutes to CMH for heli-skiing (which is what we were doing), less than 10 to village (worth a trip, good restaurants and great brew pub) and 20 to kicking horse (a challenging mountain). Also, 4 minutes to sky bridge, (but not open inn winter). Beautiful new modern home with open layout and incredibly well appointed. For four guys, it was perfect, each with our own space and toilet. The kitchen has everything you need and more! Well thought out for skiers with spacious garage to gear up, with glove/boot warming racks and a heated closet for clothing when you return. The basement area near the hot tub and sauna also has heated armour for towels and bathing suits. There are mountain views through the trees and house is set back from road, so it's feels very private. Celeste responded very quickly if we had a question. Easily one of the finest airbnb homes I've stayed in.

5-star! Our family just spent a month at Pat’s chalet in Kickinghorse and we are already planning next year’s return. Check-in was super smooth and it was spotless when we arrived. They make it very clear right when you walk in that you can reach out to them anytime with a contact card along with some welcome goodies. The chalet is stunning, it’s huge with insane high ceilings and 3 functioning levels. There is gas fireplace in the Great room and we definutely used it a lot. Also the hot tub was amazing and it was really nice to see it being serviced every week. The internet they have in the chalet is the fastest that we have ever had in our travels to Kickinghorse and was a big deal for us as my wife and I work remotely and it’s usually tough to get good internet out there. And let me not forget: HEATED FLOORS!!! Every level has heated floors! This was such a bonus for us as we had some really cold weather days while we were there. Bottom line: A great experience!
