“My boyfriend and I stayed here after spending the evening in historic Ellicott City. The space was really nice!! Super comfortable and clean. Plus Chris gave us a bunch of helpful information related to how to actually get to his space and also made it really convenient for my boyfriend and I to arrive later in the night. Thanks for a great stay!”
Two-room guest suite with private entrance located in picturesque Catonsville, MD on a pre-Colonial road originally used for rolling tobacco to the harbor. Downtown Baltimore is 20 minutes away, BWI airport and Amtrak station 15 minutes, and our street is located on a bus route. Beautiful 3.5 mile walk to historic Ellicott City and an hour from Washington, D.C. Individuals and families welcome!
“This home is located in a very lovely area and feels like you're in the country, surrounded by tall trees probably there since the civil war! The driveway is easily located, wide and parking is a breeze. It was very clean, fresh, and cozy. We really enjoyed the history in the decor, prints on the walls and books in both the living room and bedroom. The fridge was stocked with yogurt, water and orange juice, and oranges and granola bars were provided which was a nice treat! Also, of course, coffee and tea and condiments. Upon our arrival we were surprised to find that the entry entered into the bedroom. You then walk through the bathroom (tile floor is very cold; be sure and use the heater which is located in the ceiling vent, switch on the wall panel) into the living room. This was awkward for us because we sleep separately and he is a smoker and wakes up at 5 a.m. and had to have access to the exit without waking me, therefore, I got the sleep sofa and he got the bedroom. I just wanted to mention this because if you have folk who will be sleeping in the living room on the sleep sofa and you have folk who need access to outside to smoke or whatever, they will be going in and out through the bedroom. This could be an issue for some. The sleep sofa was made up with fresh, soft and cozy cotton sheets and plenty of blankets and pillows provided. It was not the most comfortable sleep sofa but it was fine for one night. The hosts were very kind, responded quickly to messages and were very gracious to allow us to check out later due to daylight savings time change. I would definitely recommend this airbnb, just plan your sleeping arrangements ahead in light of the entrance being where it is. It's very close to Ellicott City and is worth the visit!”
