Great place, felt like a hotel. was about 9 minutes walk to the main Plaza and felt very safe with the 24/7 reception

The place exceeded my expectations. It's a super cozy place that makes you feel at home. Kindness is in the air throughout the house. The generosity of Mrs. Ysabel is worth noting. She helped at all times. I was able to get to know wonderful places thanks to her recommendations, in addition to having a delicious breakfast in the morning. The room is provided with wonderful lighting (waking up and seeing the sunlight through the window is a pleasure) and is an excellent size. The accommodation is just a five-minute walk from the Yanahuara viewpoint and other beautiful landscapes. I was able to walk to the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa (round trip) without any problem. I'm sure I'll be back. One of the best experiences I've had on Airbnb. I highly recommend it.

Jose Luis always showed himself as a very friendly person. Unfortunately upon arrival in Arequipa. We noticed that the site is located very far from the tourist area, so we decided to stay somewhere else. If you are like us and prefer something more central, maybe you should evaluate another option.

This charming bed and breakfast blew us away with its incredible food—tequeños were an absolute delight, bursting with flavor, and the club sandwich was hands-down the best we’ve ever tasted. Every dish was prepared with such care, making each meal a highlight. The view of Plaza de Armas was breathtaking, offering a stunning backdrop whether we were enjoying morning coffee or unwinding at dusk. The rooms were impeccably clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner was a joy—warm, welcoming, and always ready with local tips or a friendly chat. Juana was equally wonderful, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their genuine care made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! For amazing food, gorgeous views, and heartfelt hospitality, Waya Lookout is a must-stay!

You will often read from hosts that "our home is your home". With Pao and Tom it doesnt stop there, you are part of their home and their family. From the first day we were warmly welcomed by Pao, Tom, their sons Sebas and Nico and their kind & cute Chihuahua Lea. Over time we got to know the entire extended family, learned to cook Adobo, played Fronton (Peruvian sport similar to squash), watched Jupiter & the ISS with Tom's telescope, baked cakes together and and and. If you want to really experience the local life, then I can't imagine a better place. The house is located close enough to the city center for all the city's attractions and at the same time you can experience the pretty & safe Cayma district. The Plaza de Cayma is just around the corner with local eateries and a few minutes down the road you get excellent ceviche, bakeries, saltenas etc. There are also two modern malls for those who need them. As a nice side-effect my Spanish improved dramatically in the 3 weeks! :)

The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped, close to shopping centers and surrounding facilities, in addition to being in a fairly safe location, the host very kindly collaborated with us and was in constant communication. Everything was great, thank you!

We’ve had a wonderful stay at this historic but fully renovated place in the heart of the old town. The central squire and all tourist attractions are just a couple of blocks away but the thick white volcanic rock walls of the building shield the heat and noise away. The inner courtyard and garden offer a refreshing refuge from the busyness of the street. The room was just beautiful, with high vaulted ceiling, lots of space, comfortable bedding and roomy shower. The staff, including Ana herself, were super attentive and caring. We just loved it, couldn’t recommend higher!

Great place, just a block from the plaza de armas and awesome hospitality. There are many grocery stores, restaurants, and nightlife is very much alive here. We were able to hear the partying from a near by night club, the music went on all night, but it didn’t bother us at all. Might not be for you if you’re a light sleeper. Other than that, it’s a great value. Recommended for sure.
