This cozy apartment is fully accommodated and furnished as our family with two kids lives here in winter time. It has oak tree parquet, renovated widows, a small kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating. The sight from the windows features towers of the New Castle and the church of St. John. Apartment surrounded by two parks. The May Park (with the black swans and playground) is across the street. The Medieval castle is around the corner. Free car park is available in the yard, a nice extra.

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. On the ground floor there is cosy living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sauna. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a small hall with a balcony and toilet. Each bedroom has two single beds that can be transformed into a double bed. Or alternatively - a double bed in each bedroom can be transformed into 2 single beds.
