Vacation rentals in Chaitén

I spent 8 days in the cabin and truly enjoyed it. The location is absolutely stunning: hidden away and protected from wind and weather in a small canyon but with a wide view of the sea. 10’ walk to the beach. All necessary amenities incl. hot water, gas stove, electrical heating. It’s beautiful if you like your solitude and enjoy long walks along the beach and through lush hills. Mini market about 3’ walk. Everything else >30’ walk. I came without vehicle of my own and was always lucky to either catch public transport (little, remember it’s a tiny village) or catch a ride with a neighbor. No phone signal with Entel. Hence: this is the perfect place to unwind. I would come again any day. If you’re looking for the rumble, restaurants etc, however I’d recommend you to look in the larger towns of the island (Dalcahue, Quemchi). They’re not as picturesque as Quicaví in my opinion though :P

Whilst we didn’t actually stay in this cabin (our host had to change us because of another guest) we had a great stay at Camping La Escondia. Our cabin was very cozy and our host was super proactive, always asking if we needed anything and always willing to help. No WiFi but you get 4G signal so not a big issue if you have an eSIM. Hot shower and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Recommend!

The cabins of Luz are located in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature, in the garden is Lake Lonconao!. You are relatively close to another cabin but do not lose privacy at all. Luz took a 7 with us , very kind and enjoyable, the day we arrived with the stove on! You are close to the village of Futaleufú, about 7 or 8 km away, although for greater freedom I recommend going by vehicle.In this you find all the basic services available , in addition to some very good restaurants , and wide range of tourist services.

Excellent service, very clean cabanas, calientitas and comfortable, totally cozy with TV. Perfect to disconnect a little from the world while enjoying the wonderful landscapes and sounds of the south.

Marcelo is a wonderful host, always available. The house was clean, tidy and very suitable for a large family. We had a great time

Eduardo's stay at home more than met our expectations. Modern, comfortable, nice decor, very well equipped, very well heated and the electric heater system for excellent hot water. The house has a view and prime location on the edge of Lake Yelcho which is fantastic. Eduardo was always attentive and diligent before our questions and requirements. In short, a 10/10 and we would definitely come back.

Excellent cabin, they completely exceeded our expectations, friendly hosts and very concerned. 100% recommended!
