Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Chesapeake Beach

Dylan was very helpful with making sure my request to be on the first floor with a ramp was met for my 87 year old grandmother. He responded back quickly and was super nice. Would definitely go back. My family loved it there it was so much to do. Everything was in walking distance.

Our stay at Governor Green was very nice. The place is clean, spacious and well equipped with large bedrooms, baths, kitchen and living area. I would strongly recommend it for families or couples. We felt safe and there were some activities to do on the premises, but we preferred to see the local sites. The location is very convenient to all the historical sites as well as many food, shopping, and other activities.

Beautiful condo. Very clean & updated. Most comfy bed we have ever had @ an Airbnb ( and we have stayed in many). Very quiet & peaceful.

This is a Hilton vacation rental booked thru Airbnb if it isn’t clear before booking. Space was very clean and had basic necessities.

Cofield was very helpful. Always responded to my messages, I needed a drain unclogged and they had it fixed the next day and well as assisted me with getting the excercise bike set up!

Eddi was so nice. This place is so much nicer in person. The views from balcony are amazing! My daughter loved watching the sunset from the room. They even had a tray of treats and a handwritten welcome note upon arrival. The beach was nice and private. Loved the place and hosts were amazing would stay again!

We used this space while our home was being worked on, do it was more of a “staycation” and did not use all of the amenities. The space was clean and newly renovated, so we were pleased with how nice things were. I highly recommend it for people visiting the Williamsburg area. Great location to Busch Gardens, W&M, etc. The only negative is that it is a time share, and they don’t take no for an answer.

Great location. Beautiful park next door and beach. We felt safe. Jose Tequila’s has good drinks. Aimee is responsive as a host. The place can get loud at night - we were awakened by people dragging furniture at 3am upstairs and kids yelling in the hallway. The place smelled like smoke that comes in through the pipes under the kitchen sink. Great views and nice kitchen. Well stocked. Aimee left a complimentary bottle of wine.

Amazing experience! communication was amazing! I'm a firm believer that communication sets the tone for an experience. The resort is beautiful! the amenities were top tier. The biweekly poolside party was a hit with the family. We felt safe and very welcomed. Great experience!

Everything matched the description. The location is close to everything; 15 min from Busch Gardens, 10 min from Warhill Sports Complex. When you check in they will chat to you about doing a timeshare meeting but when I explained we would be gone all day and that I was from the area the girl backed off. Very spacious place and clean. Would def stay here again.

The place was spacious & in a very convenient location to all the places we wanted to visit. The amenities that are on site are fantastic! There is plenty to do on location if you want to just hang out, such as mini golf, indoor & outdoor pool, & pickleball. The only slight issue was that there was a heavy musty smell in the suite when we arrived. We opened the doors & windows to air it out which seemed to improve it but we also didn't spend much time in the building except to shower & sleep.

This was a stressful stay as our mother is almost 100 years old and we got the message that she was close to dying. It was quite nice to have this quiet place to return to after the time we spent with Chris' mother. So we really were not able to engage in any of the resort offerings. It was a surprise that, after we paid for our regular fee, we were informed that we had to pay an additional "resort fee" for using the facilities. If we had known that we would have looked elsewhere as we felt like we were paying for something that we were not going to be able to use. Otherwise, this is a nice, clean place, quiet and with beautiful grounds.

When our first reservation fell through, Nadine quickly helped us secure a place for our family of six and was incredibly responsive to all our needs. Our unit was perfect for us — much bigger than I expected for a two bedroom, and the pools were also a big hit. Location is central to Williamsburg sights.

Exactly as described. Check in process was easy with instructions. The front desk couldn’t find my reservation at first, she had to check around and then found it. Had everything I needed for my stay. Comfortable bed, clean, steps from the beach, parking pass. The host response time is amazing.

We had an excellent stay. There were lots to do for entertainment for the whole family. Shopping was close by and the kiddos loved the on-site theater and video game room.

Fourteen of us stayed at the Sandbridge Jewel to celebrate our 60th birthdays. Everyone raved about Andrea's place! It was beautifully decorated and very well stocked, both inside and out. The three decks, lovely pool, shaded cabana, and dock were all wonderful. The path to the beach made it so easy to roll out of bed and walk over to see the sunrises. We are already talking about a return visit!

Yun was very responsive and very accommodating. The house was everything we needed for our family trip! Great location, walking distance to everything you need at Virginia Beach. I would love to come stay again whenever we come down to visit again. AND pet friendly with is a BIG PLUS for me when it comes to road trips like this one!

home away from home but with vacation vibes . my family enjoyed. we will definitely rent here again when in VA :) we made amazing memories and bonded as a family well needed..

If I could give 6* I would. Not having been in this area was like driving into somewhere like Beverly Hills. The added bonus of a pristine beach less than 100m walk away. To our surprise the beach was. It without sightings of multiple dolphins each visit. The house itself was extremely cosy. Good communal areas. Gym room outside along with a large deep jacuzzi that was always hot on entry. The house was surprisingly larger inside than the photos actually show. Multiple spaces for up to 4 cars infront of the house. The locals were all very polite even to the point that our next door neighbour knocked on the door to explain which way to leave the bins. I would recommend this place to anyone and will 110% come here again. The access and positioning as close as the house is to the beach is amazing. Thank you so much. 6* ;)

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. Would stay here again. Our layout was a bit different from the pictures, but it work great to have a space for the teens and another one for the adults. I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful, absolutely pristine house! The location was perfect for anyone looking to explore all the amenities of Williamsburg. If you have kids under 10, this is the place for you. So many toys and activities designed for kids on the property! There is a train that goes by ever so often, but the positives greatly outweigh the occasional sounds. Will be back!

The check-in process, with the resort, includes repeated attempts to sign up for a timeshare presentation. The resort's activities center staff was rude when we signed up for an activity. The indoor and outdoor pools are great. The resort has a gym, but it's small and has limited equipment. The accommodations are clean and offers everything we were looking for. The furnishings could use updating though. The location is perfect for Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestowne Settlement, Water Country USA and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

James was a very responsive and friendly host! The guest house was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable as well. If you are going with a lot of guests, I would suggest that those who go to bed earlier or are light sleepers stay upstairs. From the bottom level, you can hear the walking going on upstairs. Other than that, it was perfect! Thank yo uso much, James!
