Vacation rentals with breakfast in Chester County

We had a great stay at Adens n Wilma’s. They were very nice n friendly and made us feel right at home. The space we had was perfect for our short stay. Wilma served us a delicious breakfast! We enjoyed talking with them as well. We would definitely consider staying there again when we visit that area again

Johanna and Chris were so attentive and kind that the experience was more like staying at a country inn, which is the best part about using AirBnb compared to staying at a soulless corporate hotel. The provided light breakfast and coffee in the morning was the catalyst for lovely conversations with Johanna and the other guests. If that's not your thing, leave this room for someone who wants to connect with people and learn about them, which is what traveling is all about. Comfy bed, great pillow, good shower, cats to pet. They were great about me coming in late at night because of my schedule. Close drive to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, which was my destination for the weekend and may be the reason I seek out their place again.

We had a wonderful stay at Aden and Wilma's beautiful home! We spent one night in the area and couldn't have been happier with our accommodations and our hosts. Aden and Wilma are so kind and friendly! Remarkably, Aden built most of the stunning furniture in their house! The beds were comfortable and it was delightful to have a sink in each bedroom in addition to the bathroom. Wilma treated us to a delicious and memorable breakfast of homemade yogurt and fruit, freshly made breads with flour she ground that morning, and many other delectable treats--my teen son just about cleared the table. Thank you for a terrific stay and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area! Highly recommend.

This is the perfect style home for my family, and the fenced in yard is ideal for our dog! It’s a peaceful neighborhood, but also close to lots of activities! The home was clean and cozy and the host was very responsive to any questions I had.

Johanna and her husband were wonderful host, they set out breakfast everymorning for us and had coffee ready which was very much appreciated. Very accommodating, clean, and it was lovely getting to know them.

Susan's place was perfect for me. I needed a place close to where I was attending a week-long equestrian clinic. The studio apartment was extremely clean, and has the things I needed to prepare my own meals. It has a dedicated area where I could set up my computer and work remotely. It is a large studio with plenty of room for morning yoga. There was even a yoga mat. Susan is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond.

We had a marvelous stay at Elvin and Dorothy’s! The apartment was so clean and comfortable! And the farm-fresh eggs and milk and butter left in the fridge for us was so thoughtful, same with the jam and fresh bread! Truly we had such a delightful stay, the animals all stole our hearts. We will remember this place as a peaceful, happy sanctuary for years to come

Barbara's place was exactly what I needed for a Wilmington getaway as a solo traveler on foot. A short cab ride from Amtrak station to a beautiful block in a diverse neighborhood (rainbow and patriotic flags), very walkable to food halls, nice restaurants, local parks, historical sights, enjoy downtown Wilmington while feeling at home in your own space. You have access to a private nicely lit backyard with umbrella and seating area if you want to chill outside at night or get some air without leaving the space. All amenities were as listed, the bed was big and cozy, bathroom super clean w a shower head that lights up (cool) and the nice touches are snacks/goodies and bottles of water really helped. A great value and one I'd come back to, the icing on the cake is Barbara as a host is very kind and accomodating, there if you need her but also leaves you to enjoy your stay. 5 stars.

Very friendly and helpful host.

Our stay was too short as we were just traveling through but it will be a destination next time. The accommodations were wonderful and the surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful, I could have sat on the deck all day. Wilma was a gracious host and the eggs, bread, milk and treats were delicious. My 8 year old son loved all of the farm animals, especially the barn cats who were actually friendly. Wilma and her son took the time to show us around the farm. We will definitely be back!

This is my second stay with the Martin family and I certainly plan to return many times in the future. It feels like a second home the minute you walk inside and the Martin family always provides very clean accommodations with special touches, a beautiful homemade breakfast, helpful suggestions, great conversation, etc. It's the perfect type of old fashioned genuine hospitality that you rarely find these days in any accommodation. Melanie, the wonderful host, is someone I looked forward to seeing and can't wait to see again.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast! From the moment we arrived, Melissa and her family made us feel right at home. The hospitality was truly unmatched—warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast, and having Melissa join us for great conversation made it feel like we were staying with old friends rather than just hosts. It was more than just a place to sleep—it was an experience filled with comfort, kindness, and connection. We can’t wait to return!

Glenda was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. It is in an old historic family farm house that is quite unique. The working farm is interesting to tour. There are many local shops and restaurants in the area. It was convenient to visit the Sight and Sound Theater. If I had to pick one negative it would be the stairs. They are steep and would not be comfortable for everyone to climb. Otherwise it is a great place.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Our accommodations were immaculate! And the host was so nice and interesting to visit with. The breakfast they made for us was delicious with a lot of variety. Everything was a great blessing. Thank you!

My wife and I had such a wonderful experience here. The property is so peaceful, quiet and beautiful. We truly felt right at home. We were close to all of the antique malls and stores which was the reason for our trip. We are lucky and blessed to have been able to stay at Amethyst Inn and will definitely stay there again in the future.

Thomas and Amanda were awesome to meet. We loved our stay and appreciated all the extras they do to make everything feel like home away from home. They made us feel like family from the beginning. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and clean and we loved spending time seeing the cats, cows and chickens. Glenda and her daughter were very nice and took the time to give us recommendations for things to do and places to eat. I highly recommend staying here!
