We stayed three nights in the cottage on the property. It's comfortable and beautifully designed, as is the whole property. It was early in the season so we were the only guests there but I imagine it would be a nice experience as well when more guests are on the property. The town of Caraz is small and quiet, and a good base for visiting many of the nearby hikes/lakes. Michelle and her mother were just lovely and extremely helpful during our whole stay. They helped arrange a tour, recommended restaurants and really went above and beyond. John was also great, helping us navigate the collectivos and introduced us to Kelly, the lovely woman that owns Inti Rumi, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal. If you're looking for a quieter location than Huaraz, then this is a great option. We saw almost no other tourists, felt very safe, and were able to see a more authentic example of rural Peruvian life.

Beautiful house, the view from the house is simply magical, I would definitely return to the place as it is very quiet to spend time with the family, it is pet friendly and above all the owners are attentive to inquiries and recommendations.

My stay at this apartment was excellent! The place is cozy, clean and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal, close to everything you need. Also, the hosts were amazing: very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or needs. I would definitely recommend this place and come back without any hesitation.

I was with my family for 8 days at Regina's house and it was spectacular! The location and mainly the view of the Huascarán is unbeatable. The house is perfect for those who travel and family or as a group, with three comfortable rooms and all the necessary services for the day to day. There are many activities and walks that can be done in the Callejón de Huaylas, from visiting beautiful lagoons by car or hiking, but staying in the house and just enjoying the place is a good plan too. Regina was an excellent host, super communicative, friendly and willing to help us with all our inquiries, we would definitely like to return.

Excellent stay! The house is spacious and very beautiful, everything new and of great quality. Hot water, shower with high pressure, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, clean and fragrant bed linen and towels. The terrace has a beautiful view. The house is super complete and had everything for a pleasant stay. Escarlet responded super fast and was very kind and flexible, we had a serious problem with our car and it delayed our check-in a lot, we only managed to arrive around 10:30 p.m. and Fernando received us with great attention. We greatly appreciate it! The garage is huge and was perfect for parking our van safely. I only recommend bringing earplugs because there are many dogs that bark at night, which can disturb those who are light sleepers.

The house is very nice, cozy and well equipped, integrated into the nature of the gardens and the view to the snows is spectacular, we had a lot of quiet and relaxing moments with my family. 100% recommended. Thank you very much Meling for being such a good host!! I'll be back anyways!
