Kid-friendly vacation rentals in City of Perth

We had a lovely stay at Sarah’s and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. I was able to get all the supplies we required from a shopping plaza including a Cole’s, Kmart and chemist only 7 minutes away. The house has been beautifully renovated, is very comfortable and is in a leafy quiet inner suburb of Perth very close to Swan River and walking tracks that connect you into the CBD, waterfront and Kings Park. If you choose to drive or Uber you are not far away from all the major sites, great restaurants and beaches with a bonus only 25 minutes away from Fremantle. It will be our place of choice when in Perth.

Place was spotless and clean when we arrived, and very homely. Amenities were working well, including AC and shower heaters. Place was also conveniently located to lots of great eateries. Rob and Esther were also incredibly friendly and proactive, would 100% stay here again if we are back in Perth!

We had a lovely two-night stay in Perth! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-located. What really stood out was the host's exceptional responsiveness and care. We had mentioned needing baby amenities, and while there was a small oversight initially, the owner went above and beyond to quickly provide everything we needed – and even added a few extra thoughtful touches. It made our stay with a little one so much easier. We truly appreciated their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived from Brisbane, we truly felt at home. Having stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, I can honestly say that 'our second home' in South Perth, as my daughter affectionately called it, was one of the best we’ve experienced. It was spotless—everything, from the kitchen utensils and linen to the towels, lounge, and cushions, was fresh and pristine. The location was perfect for us—close to local shops, a great cafe Halo, the river and with easy access to the ferry to Perth city. We used Uber and found the location incredibly convenient. While the bed was a bit firm for my liking, I mentioned it to Linda - a topper was delivered to our door in no time! It was clear to me that the hosts genuinely care about their guests' comfort and experience, which made our stay even more special. It was a peaceful and welcoming home, and I would love to come back one day. As a mother traveling alone with my 14-year-old daughter, I felt completely safe, which is so important.

The building may appear slightly dated from the outside, but the room itself was beautifully renovated and well maintained. Maria provided snacks and drinks for our arrival! The location is great - just a 10-minute walk to the CBD and conveniently close to Kings Park with its stunning views. Maria was also super kind to let us check in a bit earlier, which was really helpful for us! 😊​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Overall, our stay was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this place to others! We'll definitely return to Maria's property on our next visit to Perth.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I had a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The place is cozy and well-located, making it easy to explore the area. The host was incredibly responsive and understanding—during an emergency, they were flexible and helped accommodate my situation, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Kylie's place was perfect for our short stay in Perth. It was exactly as described, with everything that we needed. Very comfortable bed and enough pace to unwind after a long day sightseeing. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean and well equipped. Although located in the CBD it is only five minutes walk to the park beside the river and a pleasant 10-15 min walk to the Barrack Road Jetty and Elizabeth Quay where a lovely selection of restaurants are available and marvellous views across the water. Ferries go from here across to South Perth, Fremantle and Rottnest Island. The central train station is only a short walk away as well. Kylie was very responsive to any questions before our stay and was very kind enough to be flexible with our arrival and departure times. We would definitely stay again if we visit Perth in the future and highly recommend it.

The apartment although on the first floor was quiet with no external noise. Fully fitted with all I needed and in good condition. I have booked to return as I needed to vacate due to prior bookings highly recommended. I use Airbnb a lot for business and this apartment was very good

Best home I’ve stayed in , in my years of using Airbnb , host is an angel and communication was so well, any questions I’ve had was answered within an instant and no problems with the apartment whatsoever, recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Perth short term or long term as you’ll have the weight of your shoulder lifted from having such an amazing host !

Thank you so much for allowing us with our fur babies 🐶 It is one of the best all up places we have stayed in, fir cleanliness, space and the pantry full of items you have in your own home. Paying it forward Our dogs were happy and with all enclosed spaces we felt safe on the open road. Very quiet and the bed was very comfortable and large. Very grateful 🥹

The accommodation was close to the beautiful Swan River walking tracks, train station, and coffee shops. It was great to pop into Lyrics Bar for a drink or meal, and although close to live music, the noise level was fine inside our accommodation. Bed. fold-out sofa and all the linen were very comfortable. The kitchen contained all the necessary appliances to cook a meal. Our hosts were lovely and genuinely interested in making sure that our stay was enjoyed. Highly recommended.

The place was very clean and just as described. The location was great as well, only a few minutes walk to a nice park and a grocery store. Cher was really responsive and ensured I had no issues during the stay. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay in Kobie’s place! The apartment was pristine and so well equipped. It was small but cosy and very well organised. The location was also excellent and apartment itself completely private from the main house. Would stay again!

Great location - across the road from North Cottesloe beach and a short walk to Cottesloe main beach. We stayed there for the Rottnest Channel swim and it was really convenient. Very comfortable apartment and Kaye was super-helpful in accommodating our booking dates and allowing earlier check-in timing.

Tracey’s apartment has a well equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking pots and pans. There is a large double fridge. The living space looks out onto a beautiful garden and large outdoor area. The bedroom is large with ample and convenient storage. The laundry is well equipped and has easy access to an outdoor line as well as a dryer. The apartment is completely private and peaceful. It is walking distance to cafes and street shopping.
