Come and enjoy a peaceful stay in our off grid cabin. A year-round get a way destination from the busyness of life, that will enable you to relax and unwind as you enjoy spectacular views, wildlife in their natural habitat, and the soothing sound of gently flowing water in our creek. Located on our historical I Bar Ranch, along Mill Creek, sits our off-grid, custom built, timber frame cabin. This pristine location is situated within the Challis-Salmon National Forest.
“Claire and daughter Rhyanne were so fun and hospitable even helping me do an impromptu wedding dress photo shoot on their beautiful ranch surrounded by gorgeous mountains. The cabin is stylish and well designed right next to a lovely creek with fire pit and hammock. It was so relaxing falling asleep on the super soft bed while listening to the flowing waters. If you want to get away, go here.”
Secluded, beautiful French Creek Canyon with it's trail into the White Cloud Mountain Wilderness. Central to adventure for everyone. This is a UNIQUE, SPACIOUS, and AFFORDABLE 2 bedroom RV at the canyon end of the French Creek Ranch. Fire Pit. Great for fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, hot springs, and ghost towns. Premier Salmon River scenery with the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley, to the many lakes, like Redfish Lake and Bayhorse Lakes. Bring your family/friends and enjoy!
“Imagine your dream camping experience - roasting burgers and smores high up in the mountains of Idaho on a roaring campfire right next to a fully outfitted and stocked RV on a cold July night, as close to the night sky and all the stars as you will likely ever get outside of an airplane or an alpine base camp (or the International Space Station). Then imagine having to carry absolutely nothing with you to make this happen besides the meat and s’more fixings, some campfire starting skills, and (very) warm clothes! You will instantly fall in love (like we did) with this beautiful and rugged landscape so amazingly rich in heritage. We particularly enjoyed our visit to the Clayton Museum (10 minutes down the road), the ghost town of Bayhorse (about half an hour away), the Land of Yankee Fork Museum in Challis (half an hour away - Challis is also the best place to get groceries, especially compared to crowded and overpriced Stanley) and our morning and sunset hikes up French Creek Trail (right behind the RV). Many thanks for this experience to Jolene and Marshall, the absolute best AirBnB hosts we have ever met - can’t find enough superlatives to describe their kindness, hospitality, and wealth of local knowledge. We will definitely be back (hopefully soon)!”
Welcome hunters, families, pets and friends. The Little Cabin is the perfect place to feel secluded while still enjoying all the conveniences of being in town. The Little Cabin is located right next to our main cabin, we are a very friendly and welcome anyone, but we are courteous and keep quiet and let you enjoy your privacy. Challis is the perfect destination for anyone who loves the great outdoors. The great outdoors also love eating everything in our yard. We can't wait to meet you!
“Savannah's cabin was wonderful! My family and I stayed just one night but if we had a longer trip it easily would have served as base camp. The cabin was stocked up with towels, extra pillows and blankets, toiletries in the shower, and even coffee and eggs in the fridge (although we ended up eating breakfast just down the road at the Village Inn)! Her dogs and cats greeted us and later in the evening the Challis town deer were spotted in neighbors' yards! I'd definitely stay at Savannah's place again!”
