You are staying at a guest house for our Community. We hope to make it available to discerning travelers who wish to enjoy the peace and quiet of Southeastern Arizona and explore the Chiricahua National Monument, old ghost towns (Tombstone, Pierce, etc), Wine Tasting, Rex Allen Museum, and much, much more.
“This place was awesome! It felt like home. A great place to relax and lay our heads after riding motorcycles all day. Moramay was an exceptional host and Peaches even let us pet her. We had fresh coffee every morning. The rooms were fresh and clean. I just can't enough about this place. I can't wait to return and stay here again.”
A spacious get-away nestled amidst desert trees in view of the breath taking Dragoon Mountain range. Living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom spaces. 12 foot by 32 foot roofed patio allows for indoor/outdoor living. The only sounds you are likely to hear are those of the coyote and other desert friends. There is a telescope available to view the amazing night skies. We also have a ground set fire pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the mountains at night.
“One comes here drawn to its mysteries. To see that the desert is not as desolate as it appears, to hear stories of gunfights and geology, to imagine faces of native spirits in the play of sun and clouds on the nearby Stronghold. Another mystery is why Theresa doesn’t keep this illuminating place to her own instead of sharing it with strangers? She says she wants us all to enjoy it as much as she does and all that – well, I believe in unicorns too, so that’s good enough for me! This is well thought-out, lush living, respectfully contained not to impact the environment it’s borrowed from. Perfect “feng shui”, from the placement of morning sun on the busy bird feeder to the perfectly-equipped indoor space, which is a trap of a sort…you’ll hap on a book and a nook forget to go outside! If you like cook in your cowboy hat, this is not the place for you. Other than that, the place is spacious, spotless and super-functional. I could not wish for less prickly place to enjoy the Mountains, Trees and Desert in solitude.”
We are located Minutes from Cochise Stronghold. Sunsites and Pearce. 20 minutes from Wilcox and 30 minutes from Benson. 40 minutes from the Chiricahua Mountains.
“This is a really great, affordable place to stay with a small family. We have two kiddos and there was plenty of space for all of us. You do get an entire house to yourself, and it's nice! If you're looking for a five-star style hotel stay, this is not it. It is a clean, safe, cute little place to stay with a family, and it was very affordable for us, which was extremely helpful as our travel plans changed and we had to book it last minute.”
