“We just had an overnight stay in Sam and Auroras cave house but we really loved it. The appartment was cosy, well equiped and very clean. Everything is as describred or even better. The hosts are super friendly and their tips for discovering the surrounding are unique! We enjoyed our short time in this fantastic area and sure'll come back! Highly recommended.”

“The Cortijo is bursting with rustic charm, there are exposed wooden beams and the decoration is a perfect mix of modern & rustic. So if you’re looking for an authentic inland-Spain experience (as we were) then this place will not disappoint. The pool and outside area are really lovely and beautifully kept. Helen & Simon were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations and we were lucky enough to be offered some fresh eggs from the resident chickens, some of their own farm’s olive oil and some water from the local well at Baza. The house at the back is idyllic, surrounded by olive trees as far as the eye can see ( with beautiful mountains as a backdrop) but at the front it’s quite close to the main road which Is handy for getting around but does give some road noise. We were conscious of this the first night but after that you get used to it and it doesn’t spoil the overall feel of the place. We visited the nearby lake Negratin for a swim (like an inland sea with a beach!) and we went on a day trip to Castril which has stunning scenery & waterfalls, gorges and a beautiful river walk so there was plenty to do in the area. We wanted to venture inland to get a different experience to the beaches and would definitely go back - highly recommend.”
