Mini wooden house between Santa Vittoria in Matenano and Montefalcone (Province of Fermo, Marche).
“Highly recommended, thanks Giovanni! My two friends and I have decided to spend the New Year here, in this place a little lost in nature. Giovanni lives right next door but there was very little and so we had a stay practically "ours" and we loved it. We were able to put on music without any kind of problem and we were greeted with a big smile by Giovanni, a young man, very hospitable. He welcomed us and showed us the house which, to our surprise, was even more beautiful live. Constantly heated, with an excellent kitchen, delicious coffee, fresh drinking water, the parquet and the creaking of the wooden stairs, the chandelier in the particular room, the bathroom with well-managed spaces ... everything was perfect. Not to mention the table outside, which was already gorgeous from the photos. In short, we had a great time. Also, in the morning, we found breakfast outside the door: fresh milk and two large slices of cake (probably from the oven) that really made us start the day. The only note, if we really want to find it, was to have only the small towels and not the bigger ones to take a shower and the little toilet paper. But they are still small inaccuracies since Giovanni kept specifying that whatever we needed we could contact him or take him from us in his apartment.”
My accommodation is in the Monti Sibillini National Park near Montemonaco, Foce and Lake Gerosa. Excellent starting point for beautiful excursions on foot or by bike. Ideal place for the view and relaxation. Suitable for couples, lone adventurers and families with children.
“Perfect experience, from accommodation to hospitality. Renovated house, with impeccable order and cleanliness. Equipped with everything you need, and more, to stay in autonomy and comfort. Surrounded by greenery, isolated from other houses, but 10 minutes away from the first inhabited center where you can find all the necessary services (supermarket, petrol station, bank, restaurants, etc.). The location is strategic to move easily in any direction and explore the wonders of the Monti Sibillini Park. Communication with Alessia, the host, was immediate and easy both before and after we met. Hospitality and hospitality not easy to find around. I recommend to everyone.”
This characterful apartment in our newly renovated country farmhouse offers all modern amenities. The stone farmhouse nestles in a tranquil setting with stunning views onto the Sibillini mountain range, a perfect location to explore this magical area
“This listing is all exactly as advertised and a very, very nice place to stay. We are a family of four and spent a few days there in August 2018. The renovation of the house used as the rental is top class, very well done, and with a great deal of thought gone into the detail. I’m an architect by trade and have a discerning eye. Jeff and Sylvia live in a separate house on site and are very thoughtful hosts. In the background but there if you need them. They are very welcoming, helpful, and easy to get on with. Flop the dog is also a character! The area is very pretty and there is much to explore. We feel that a car would be an essential here, providing you have that, the Adriatic coast is short hop, or maybe a freshwater swim in Lake Fiastra, walking trails a plenty, plus some very pretty and historic nearby towns within a few minutes drive. Jeff and Sylvia provide a wealth of information on nearby attractions and if wine is your thing, you are certainly in the right place. To conclude, a very nice place indeed. Either a beautifully quiet get away, or a base to explore with the family. Just do your research and go for it! ”
