A double room with Abancay bathroom, Apurimac (301)

David HugoRating, 5 stars45 months ago
I liked the place, the room was relatively large and comfortable. The place was clean although a few months and doors looked old and worn out. The location is very convenient, 100 meters from the central square. The Wi-Fi was working even though it was slow, the hot water was working even though I had electricity a couple of times when I picked it up. It's not the most beautiful place I've been to but it was clean enough and helpful enough to rest quietly and be able to go for a walk during the day. I recommend this stay if you are one of those looking for a central place to rest easy and comfortable. If you like a clean place with "everything new" better to spend more.

Andean cabins in Soraypampa

TeemuRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming place! The location was perfect, close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable with a spectacular view. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. Food was delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough – it truly felt like a home away from home!

Soraypampa Hostel near Lake Humantay/Salkantaytrek

RobertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The dome was a very nice experience to look up at the stars through the glass ceiling while warm in bed. The blankets are enough to stay warm on cold nights. The place is really a hostel and most guests are there for the Salkantay Trek, so don't go with Western standards expecting a fancy hotel. The community bathroom was in average condition at best, but it is the best bathroom you will find for the rest of the trek. Meals are served to everyone at the same time. The food quality was mediocre and there are no choices; you get what you get. I took a colectivo from Cusco to Mollepata for 20 soles then they arranged a private driver up to Soraypampa which was a beautiful 30 minute drive. Meals are 20-25 soles. Breakfast was tasty but underwhelming in terms of quantity, especially when preparing for an 8-10 hour hike. Considering how remote the location is, they do provide a good experience overall. I would definitely stay there again.

LUCILA HOTEL ABANCAY APURIMAC

The home is a new hotel. It is very clean and well maintained and is close to restaurants and shops. Moises and his brother Roberto were very helpful and hospitable. I can recommend this hotel without hesitation.
