As a returning guest, we suspected we were going to have a wonderful stay. The accommodation is comfortable and well-equipped with a magnificent view of Badacsony. I would especially like to highlight Szilvia's attention and helpfulness, and she was always quick and kind to answer our questions. These made us feel really at home.

Amazing place. We were lucky to find it available. The house has absolutely everything you may need for your stay. The views are very nice of Balaton and the House is very well kept.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

The host contacted me immediately after booking and had all the useful information about how to find and get into the place. Extremely friendly and direct, and the place is clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you need. We only stayed 1 night, but we'll be back. Thank you so much!

We spent a weekend in Renata's fabulous home. She was very kind and helpful throughout, offering us extra local options. The house is fully equipped, clean, and tidy. The surroundings and panoramic views are a fairytale, which you can enjoy from every room. The next time we're here, we'll be sure to choose this accommodation. What a fantastic place! Beautiful Appartment, fantastic surroundings and a beautiful pool. Kitchen was very well equipped and the hostess (Monika) was great, Google translate it was but it helped so much in feeling away from it all. Also the kids absolutely loved it. They make their own wine which adds to the experience. Went for a run in the early morning, very much liked the diverse environment. All in all we really enjoyed our time, the place is fantastic and lives up to the expectation. We might go again next year!

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

we had so much fun, my family visited Balaton the first time. the cottage was lovely and we managed to use the fireplace too. no issues at all, highly recommend this place! we are planning to come back in the summer x

We had a wonderful time at this house! It was exactly what we needed: quiet, relaxing and just fantastic. The view was breathtaking. A real highlight at any time of day. Especially the sauna overlooking nature was an absolute experience and made our stay perfect. The house was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and superbly equipped. Everywhere you can feel how much heart and love this place has been designed, both inside and out. The contact in advance was warm and uncomplicated, and even during our stay you noticed how much the host is because his guests feel completely comfortable. We immediately felt welcome. The location in the middle of nature is just perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. We will definitely be back. It was one of those special places to just make you feel at home. This was our third time at this beautiful house and we had a fantastic stay as always. Our highlights were: the garden and private lake access for us, the fenced garden for our dog and the high-speed WiFi for my teenage kids.

We were there with 2 families and it was very comfortable place to stay. Judit was very kind and also the neighbour who helps checkin. We were welcomed warmly. You can have very nice trips at the surrounding nature. And the garden is also a good place to rest.

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

great! it was clean, the bed was nice and communicating with the host was super easy.

We were at the accommodation with our children. As described, a very good vibe, kind, peaceful, comfortable house away from the noise of the world. At the same time, there are many beautiful sights ( castles, stupa, castle, Lake Balaton) easily accessible by car. The stove keeps the heat surprisingly long, so we woke up in the morning in good heat. The kitchen is fully equipped! Ildikó is a very attentive host, he explains everything about heating, electricity, and he was waiting for us with delicious noodles! I recommend this place for nature lovers if you hide from the world.

Very well-equipped home, excellent for either a short or long stay. Children loved having toys to play with and some things for the lake. WiFi up to the challenge of two people on video calls at once, and air conditioning up to the challenge of summer heatwaves! Ramona was very helpful with information about the area and even finding a babysitter. Easy access to a lot of interesting places around the Balaton area, but of all of the beaches Vonyarcvashegy’s was the best anyway!

very good for the price, everything was close by and the beach and a grocery store is right around the corner
