Great! Elena is Diana's mother. She is incredibly friendly and coming before. She takes care of everything, had great tips for the area. The house is superbly located for excursions by bike, hiking boots or car. Huge grounds with fruit and nut trees. When we were there, everything started to bloom. A dream! Also the house itself is huge and more like 2 houses. Part has a separate entrance, which can be very convenient for 2 families, for example. Elena also cooked us traditionally Romanian for an evening with her other daughter. That's what you should definitely do. On Saturdays there is a small market in the village. Unfortunately, there is no food there, but the whole place meets...a wild mess. But Elena also has a mini market herself, where you can get everything. A very large market with food is available in Bistritz. There, too, everyone is relaxed and friendly. Thanks again for the lovely stay

The accomodation was clean, modern and the beds were very comfortable. It's a peacefull area and us and our babies slept very well. Ana is a great host, she is very nice and we had a great comunication. I recomand Ana's apartament! 😊

It was a great experience. The place looks exactly like the pictures and is very clean. The area is very quiet and with very beautiful scenery. The host was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. Thank you for everything and we will definitely come back if we have the chance again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The space was impeccably clean—spotless, in fact—and the attention to detail made it feel incredibly cozy and peaceful. The highlight of our stay was the chimney, which added such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It kept us perfectly warm, especially on the open second floor, where the heat naturally rose, making it a snug retreat. We enjoyed a quiet and serene evening, sipping on the wine thoughtfully provided by our host, sitting next to the fire, and listening to music for hours. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you, for creating such a magical experience. We can’t wait to come back!

An incredible place, with an incredible host. We were greeted with food platters and drinks on the house, and Ovi quickly accomodated requests for extra bed sheets. The location has an amazing view to the lake and the surroundings. The rooms are modern and beautiful and the kitchen is super well equipped. The jacuzzi works brilliant, and the fire place up the hill is an excellent way to end the days at the lake around the fire. Highly recommend this, will definitely try to come back!

Bala is a very nice Romanian village with hardworking people, clean streets and well equipped households. It is placed quite isolated in a lovely natural setting, but it is easily accessible by car, on a paved and well maintained road. The property is suitable for those who want to spend a holiday in the countryside in an authentic setting. The house is old, it is surrounded by a wooden porch and consists of 2 bedrooms, a small bathroom and a kitchenette. For meals it is advisable to use the recommendations of the hosts. The beds are comfortable and clean. There is heating with central heating. The yard is huge and continues with the courtyard of the house where hosts, Georgiana and Steve occasionally live. There is also a vegetable garden, a few cute cats, and two dogs. In the house is fast wifi but phone signal is just Digi. In a nutshell, it was a very pleasant and advisable experience for those looking to discover beautiful, authentic and unspoiled villages of mass tourism.
