“This place was an amazing choice and exceeded our expectations with all of the extra touches that were included! The apartment was very clean and stylish - you can tell they take a lot of pride in keeping the place nice for their guests. It was also stocked with a lot of additional amenities like a full kitchen, bedside sound machine/charger, full sets of towels and washcloths, and snacks. Communication was very prompt and thorough. Will definitely stay again!!”

“This gem is nestled on a quiet street with everything a guest could need within 5 minutes. Sue deserves a special superhost status. I came to finish my dissertation. Extended my stay twice. Every detail is thought out. Quality everything including Charmin and Bounty. My socks were clean on the bottom at the end of the day. I will absolutely be here again for a couple of weeks to do my exit thesis. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. I am very detail oriented. Sue had the bases covered. Thank you!”
The Summer Kitchen is a country retreat on a real working organic grain farm in the heart of Amish Country, Ohio. This private getaway for two adults is an entire apartment that is attached to the farmhouse. It's aptly named The Summer Kitchen because this structure was once used as the kitchen for all the summertime canning and cooking. The farm sits on 130 acres atop a hill surrounded by lofty pines.
“We truly enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, magnificent view, and great location. We also got to visit with Gerald and Shirley a couple of times, and they are great hosts. The internet was not super great, but everything else made that practically irrelevant.”
